  1. They are due there on May 23rd when Poole meet BV
  2. Weather dry and warm so should be pleasant at Blunsdon tonight instead of the Siberian temperatures we have had for most of the season so far. Will report on road works on A419 later today when road reports are updated for today.
  3. I thought any new poster had their posts checked and allowed on the forum by the mods. Why not post as a new poster, explaining what has happened and asking the mod to send the password etc. One or two on here have had to set up new names as they could not access their old ones.
  4. I can only go on the comments on updates but they seem to confirm that.
  5. Have seen a couple of meetings from Lakeside and they have both been awful, so unless they are against Swindon I do not bother watching them.
  6. Glad I did not go to the pub to watch what sounds like a bore fest.
  7. It would be great if they can promote the sport locally as that is something that has been missing. What happened to the shop in the middle of town where they were going to share a premises with football and ice hockey? They could have shown clips of the speedway and had offers for the public and occasionally a speedway rider there with his bike. There are plenty of empty shops available. I am surprised how many people in Swindon do not know we have a speedway team. Do the above have a couple of spades as we need to see the new stadium started with confirmation that speedway will be there.
  8. Seems to be from M4 to hospital roundabout but you would need to check road works updates each thursday or have worked out an alternative route if you hit a major diversion.
  9. At least she does not look like this one, yet https://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://static5.uk.businessinsider.com/image/56af82a0c08a8037008be236-480/wildenstein5.jpg&imgrefurl=http://uk.businessinsider.com/billionaire-socialite-jocelyn-wildenstein-biography-pictures-transformation-2016-2&h=360&w=480&tbnid=XWVGtp6CMvy2rM:&tbnh=150&tbnw=200&docid=esgcG4IJN-XSPM&itg=1&usg=__hVg5lnwcKs1Dcxlmvh4JO6K9JFA=
  10. Lakeside have caused us a shock defeat in the past but cannot see that happening thurs.
  11. Somehow we need to get Killer in for the play offs.
  12. Lakeside won away at Leicester but cannot see them getting any points at Stad de Blunsdon. The robins are on a run and getting better each week so we should get the three points and move up the league.
  13. Thought this could have been close but a great result for the roobins.
  14. Good ride by Nick to beat KK on a T/R
  15. ROAD WORKS WARNING for any fans coming to Swindon who use the A419 dual carriageway from the M4 all the way to the M5 Junction 11A. Roadworks will cause the closure of the road overnight from 8pm for 6 weeks from tomorrow tues , so if you use this road work out an alternative route home rather than following the diversions, some of which will be through Swindon. They are saying they are going to close the road in sections so you will need to check out whatever information you can get hold of and have various alternative routes to bypass the works. A second period of 6 weeks at the end of August will also see overnight closures.
  16. Nick Morris did not have a great time in Poland yesterday, one non finish and one fall.
  17. Was that because Buzz, Watt and Ellis fell off
  18. One advantage that BV should have is that any covers can either be hooked on to and left on top of fence or left on the outside of the fence as there is no dog track.
  19. At last a meeting preview and expected line up. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2665
  20. Swindon have a team line up change with Josh back as a heat leader, Charles Wright at 2 and Justin at 4. I recon they can get points from this meeting but not sure how many.
  21. Should have kept the faith in Killer, originally bet more on him until injury was mentioned then cancelled bet, at least I did not change bet to less.
  22. Good GP that got better as the meeting progressed. Scott and Natalie were both easy to listen to and knowledgeable. Great final with Swindon reps 1 and 2, come on Rosco get Killer back this year.
