  1. Jason suffered crashes in Poland and Sweden this week and is struggling to move because of bruising, there is a report on Swindon Speedway Website
  2. That is good of Chris but not an equal replacement
  3. What is the weather like up there, if you have had the rain that we have had in Wiltshire overnight it would not be on.
  4. Roscos report and team line ups http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2672
  5. Because as stated earlier a team sometimes does not fight to the last race, just gives up as there are no points to ride for. If counting to 6 is difficult you can use your fingers.
  6. How about the following Home win by more than 6 points, as now Home team 3 points Away team finishing within 4 - 6 points of the home team, Home team 2 points Away team 1 point Away team finishing within 3 - 1 points of the home team, Home team 1 point Away team 2 points Draw Home team 0 points Away team 2 points Away win 1 - 6 points Home team 0 points Away team 3 points Away win 6+ points Home team 0 points Away team 4 points That should keep the teams fighting till the last race.
  7. Doyle 10 Less Lindgren 20 more Harris 10 more - might as well go for a wild gamble
  8. Two possible options: 1. Create another member from another computer and put a request on your post as posts are checked, either a mate, at work or most libraries have computers that can be used by the public. 2. pm KKS under one of its current names used and ask it how it has multiple user names.
  9. Years ago at Swindon if the weather had been dry the trackman used to try to spike the track and soak it with water the two evenings before the day of the meeting. Mind you the spikes did not last long as the shale could go like concrete.
  10. No sign of anything yet at the stadium site or that I can find on the Council planning lists.
  11. I wonder if the bspa do not want to highlight the screw up in the averages that this new system is causing.
  12. Killer would like this track, can we sneak him in to the team, only in the interest of the sport.
  13. Could go either way because of the new track, what a pity that we are not in the same position.
  14. Because if Chapman realised that he would have done thing differently he should have put that to the promoters and asked their opinions rather than carry on with something that was not what he as chairperson would want to work with. In most organisations the Chairperson is voted on at the start of the meeting and before any changes are made, not after. This is like other organisations, the boss does not like the way it works but does nothing about it. Next he will be asking why spectator numbers are down and why the crap is hitting the fan.
  15. In which case he should have immediately called for an EGM and those "promoters" moaning should have tried to change things, not an ideal way to proceed but look at the screw ups that have happened.
  16. From one side of London to the other, hitting the M25 at about 5pm, you are taking a gamble with the traffic on the M25.
  17. In 6th place after 3 rides with 2,2,2 so could do with a win to get through.
  18. This will be another opportunity for them to reduce their averages, then Matt will get in another heat leader.
  19. Have BV had any testing prior to the Colts meeting tonight as Swindon are due to race there next wed May 11th.
  20. Good meeting and some good action from the robins, especially heat 10 with Nick and Josh getting past AJ at the same time. Brilliant max from Jason. Charles started ok but then had bike trouble, a few were testing and looking at his bike after the meeting. Stefan had bad luck in heat 12 when running a 5-1 with Rohan, with Stefan suffering a blown engine. Kim Nilsson was the main opposition for Lakeside Swindon move up the league to 4th position but equal 2nd on points with Poole and Wolves.
  21. Road report at 4.15 - accident cleared and traffic starting to move again.
  22. It seems that most of the road works on the A419 from J15 M4 for a couple of mile north of that junction. http://www.swindon.gov.uk/info/20031/roads_parking_and_transport/522/roadworks_closures_and_diversions Remember that they start at 8pm so will only effect journey home after the meeting.
