  1. Rohan and Justin could be an issue at heat leader but then we have the power of Josh and Nick at 2 and 4. Will see how Jason and Rohan go tonight following their accidents.
  2. I seem to remember Rosco saying something like they were rushed through at the last minute. They made up the bl##dy rule without thinking it through. They should have gone away for a few days and thought it through as I think it was easily spotted by some on here within a few hours of it being announced. It is obvious to anyone that the reserves should have only jumped from reserve to second string and then only to heat leader using their average calculated on their second string scores only. If the calculating of averages of second string rides only is too restrictive then maybe a reserve should only be moved up to a second string and not a heat leader regardless of average. On the green sheets for 30 5 16 no EDR rider is in a heat leader position, Buster could call a meeting and if all the clubs agree sort out a rule change, after giving it a bit of thought.
  3. New green sheets out and the changes for 30th are Justin to Heat Leader, Josh to 2nd string and Charles back to reserve.
  4. Preview posted for this http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2683 Am surprised Jason is riding after his crash last Sunday and hope he can ride through the pain barrier, wish him well with his bruised foot, back and testicles.
  5. The lack of available riders is the problem that afternoon, not sure if AJ had a bad day but he only scored 5 at Swindon recently. Kim Nilsson scored a lot more and if available may be a better option.
  6. That happened at Swindon as well, when we had test matches against the USA, because we had a couple of American riders many were supporting them and not the Brits.
  7. Was not on about Swindon but at KL then Poole if Jason is not back. At KL scored 23232 12 + 1 At Poole " 31332 12 There are higher scoring riders ie KK at Kings Lynn but it would mean paying for him to fly in and he can be inconsistent. It is difficult finding another good rider at those tracks and BH Monday is awful because of all the other EL meetings.
  8. Well done Belle Vue, a good meeting with plenty of passing but blimey what an awful track. Could not agree with the exclusion of Cook and I reckon both his starts were ok. Swindon are visitors a week wed and going by Pool's performance tonight they could get beaten again.
  9. If Jason cannot ride this thurs and then at Poole next wed get Scotty in Rosco
  10. But if it is lighter it is not as wet
  11. Do not know the actual line up as the Poole website is not very good and not giving out that information, but looking at the averages he should be a 2nd string therefore at 2 or 4. I would think 2.
  12. Call up first post on thread Press edit Press Full Editor - this should give you access to title etc. If a problem pm me Will send invoice in the post all advice charged at £100 per hour
  13. Jason Doyle involved in another big crash in Poland, taken off in Ambulance but has tweeted nothing broken but feels beaten up again. His actual words were balls gone flat now feel like I has been run over by a truck. Will need to wait and hear if ok by thursday and if he needs a softer seat on his bike.
  14. This was mentioned in General Topics a few days ago. Reports back are that there are no problems. Just tried it again and system is fine. Remember to use speedwayupdates.proboards.com and not other versions http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/ Edit - Forgot to mention it seems to be an IE problem.
  15. The planning dept at the council have been questioned and they seem to be as frustrated as are the fans. Justin Tomlinson the MP and T Russell would be the ones to email with questions
  16. In the GPs I support Doyle and Kildemand, both Swindon, in the same way I used to support Leigh Adams over any Brit. But I also want Woofie to do well and will support him if the other two are not in the final. Ideal GP result Doyle, Kildemand, Woffie in any sequence in any GP. The World Cup is a bit more difficult because Swindon probably has a couple of riders in the Aus team. I support both Aus and England.
  17. Now that he will be at no. 2 or 4 for this meeting he will be racing against our Australian young guns so he will need to be on his guard .
  18. No he is going to sit out the meeting following accident last night, just tweeted his shoulder needs resting.
  19. At the track last night they mentioned that the gates would be open at 2.30.
  20. They ought to as there is no guarantee the new one will be available or ready by March 17
  21. I am aware that that picture is not 100% correct thanks, but this picture was better than trying to explain it, I cannot find an exact picture and the one shown gives an indication of the vicinity of where it should be.
  22. As others have said a processional meeting with some strung out races. Was surprised that KL were not closer but ironically the difference in the score was the difference in the reserves scores, this new system is not working. It was very pleasing seeing Justin getting 17 points but whoever Swindon has in the tier 1 reserve position they will usually score well, sometimes at the expense of a heat leader and sometimes not. Tonight also saw an improvement from Stefan in the way he fought for his place in his races and his overall score. Jason and Nick rode well as did NKI and Mads for Kings Lynn. I hope that Rohan and Robert are ok after there crashes.
