  1. Rohan Tungate had a very good meeting in Denmark last night scoring 11+1 from 6 rides against the likes of NKI etc.
  2. Unless Rosco gets the team together and gets them to sort out their bikes or themselves then yes, If possible make two changes what is there to lose. I was going to go to Coventry last night but am really glad I did not. If the team performance does not improve at our two away meetings next week, and note that when we are at Belle Vue Somerset are riding that night, I would predict the crowd at Blunsdon will be well down for the visits of Poole and Leicester.
  3. Had not realised we had a meeting against Leicester at home to fit in. I see in Roscos report he is very concerned but possibly he should have taken tougher action earlier starting with getting the riders to sort out their equipment and then themselves as it may now be too late for this season. I do not remember a behind closed doors session, in fact this thursday is a free day at the track for them to get up to the stadium and sort out the issues.
  4. They flattened all the ruts out, spreading the shale about then they run heavy equipment round and round pressing the shale into a solid base, then when hard they rough up the surface with spikes. It is a very difficult job to get it right as they have to rely on working the shale and take into account the weather which can either dry out the track or make it damp.
  5. Agree but if they need the concrete barrier because of stock cars they need to bolt a second airfence into the ground so it cannot lift, behind the present one.
  6. Absolutely diabolical performance from Swindon, only Jason and Rohan showed any signs of beating the opposition. It must be too late now for us to get anywhere near the playoffs unless Rosco gets the riders together at a track and gets them to sort out their bikes or themselves. The alternative is to replace a couple of the riders but I cannot see that happening. So it looks like our last home meeting will be against Poole on 22nd.
  7. Agree, during the school holidays the riders should go into the crowd after the meeting, those needing to rush away accepted, to sign autographs, race rubbishs etc, in fact they should also do it occasionally throughout the whole season. A youngster getting to wave to the riders will remember it for one season, if they get their tee shirt signed they will remember that for ages.
  8. Swindon need to get an away win if they are looking to get to the play offs, if the riders ride like they are capable of they can get that win.
  9. Well Swindon race at Coventry on monday and should get 4 points, then the following week we are away at Kings Lynn which could be more.
  10. Possibly but I cannot be the only person who cannot stand him and will not watch anything he is on.
  11. And unless we get to the play offs this will be our last home meeting
  12. They may have to start this at 7 to get through both and have a ref that does not keep stopping the races for restarts.
  13. Probably correct, but after a while it backfires and puts people off.
  14. He is even awful on the current advert for Ladbrokes, on that he speaks for too long
  15. I love that description Star Lady
  16. TV schedule just released by sky Mon 8th Aug Coventry - Swindon Mon 22nd Aug Swindon - Poole Mon 29th Aug Wolves - Swindon followed by Wolves Kings Lynn Wed 7th Sep Poole - Kings Lynn Mon 12th Sep Belle Vue - Poole
  17. Who ever was picking the music must be an Aussie as they love ABBA, I thought it was a tribute to all the Aussie riders in the meeting, but they can continue to play ABBA, say one track a week.
