A ORLOV replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I posted weeks ago that Chris Holder was heading towards being your reserve -
The meeting is tomorrow Sid not tonight.
-
We will probably be without Josh and Charles Wright, but not sure if Stefan was ok after his comeback for Plymouth.

Time For Teamgb To Move On Without Woffinden.
A ORLOV replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Agree, this is what I have been saying, it is no good continuing as they have if the next group of riders do not want to ride for them. -
It will be interesting seeing if the bspa do help the British youngsters in preparation etc for the next few World Cups or if more riders refuse to ride in it, or if we get to a situation where we have to qualify to get into the main competition.
-
We have now had a statement from Tai stating that he is giving 2017 a miss as far as Team GB goes, but I still say the whole running and financing of the top competitions needs a complete overhaul, but that is a different situation.
-
Have said this before, it is about time the riders and federations insisted BSI etc pay more to them for future development, with the threat that they will look for another organisation who may run the World Championships and World Cup.
-
Tai has tweeted @ WolvesSpeedway that he is super excited to be back with the crew, so it seems things are ok with Wolves

Leicester V Poole Elb. 20/08/16
A ORLOV replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hans is self employed so he can decide when and where he rides. If he was not doing well Matt would not give a second thought to getting rid of him, well it works both ways. Anyway Poole could win at Leicester with a NL rider in his place. -

Charles and Josh were both involved in pile ups at Sheffield and are not riding tonight for Somerset, Josh mentioned he felt second hand but I cannot find any info from Charles. Stefan is riding at Plymouth tonight and doing ok, so subject to how he feels he may be back on thurs. -
British Speedway As A Brand....
A ORLOV replied to CookieIpswich's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
As mentioned the people running it have their own interests and do not seem to be able to see that if they are not careful the sport will die. They have given the rights for sponsorship away to Go speed, who has bought in sky but not much more. They along with the other federations have let other organisations run World Championships etc who put virtually nothing back into the development of the sport. Maybe these were the sort of reasons that people like Sandu walked away. The problem now is, has the sport got the money to pay someone to grab it by the throat and sort it out and the gonads to get away from the people making the money from tv rights and running the world championships etc. -
Could it not have been with a lower average rider in place of Nick and Sedge, as Rosco has said we need to change two, not sure if it has to be one for one or a redeclaration where there is a problem, if as I think, we are above the team limit.
-
Just wish Rosco had signed him for Swindon
-
That is because he has not got Starry to have a discussion with

The two main issues are Nick and Justin, both are not doing what they have done in the past and not scoring. -
So Who Is Going To Win The El In 2016?
A ORLOV replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The way that Swindon are riding at the moment we will only get points against Leicester at home, even Poole might beat us.
