Agreed, you just need to look at how many people they have pulling out the covers they have at Wimbledon for the tennis, they are very heavy and cumbersome.

Add to this the problem of where you store wet, heavy covers when you take them off the track. If there is no dog track they could be rolled up and left behind the track fence but most stadiums have dog tracks.

In the news and discussion section, in fact I have just posted info about reports posted from Swindon Council Planning dept in the last couple of days. It may be a good idea to shift all discussion about the stadium to there.

More reports listed on 18th Aug relating to drainage for the stadium and surrounding area, this was one of the questions raised by the Council. There is a new report dated 19th Aug relating to conditions about the planning. Still awaiting details re parking that they also asked for.

We had not raced there either and BV had raced a couple of meetings away, anyway lets see what happens. I am more interested in seeing us beat Poole on monday

Would have thought that mechanics etc were paid monthly or weekly for the number of months or weeks they had worked.
