  1. No chance and you cannot have him against Kings Lynn again either
  2. Rohan scored 14 from 5 rides tonight riding for Wolves at Kings Lynn, he has been really good lately, hope Rosco signs him up for next year.
  3. Kings Lynn are doing a good job so far heat 7 22 - 20
  4. Does that leave you enough time to feed the pigeons and take the whippet for a walk.
  5. As I stated if we can get Justin Sedgmen sorted out we have a good team, for most of the season not all of our riders have clicked at the same time, but if they do watch out.
  6. I noticed that, and had a chuckle at Gavans comments earlier about Brady being a world beater or something like that, he is still learning and I expect he will improve and be a good rider in the future, he only beat Justin and our reserves. Brady is good for his age and will get better along with the other Australian youngsters, whether he is another Darcy Ward or Chris Holder is yet to be seen .
  7. If we met Poole in the play offs I would put a few quid on Swindon. Our reserves have just come back from injuries, they will get better and score more. Surely Justin Sedgmen must get his bikes sorted out and will then score more, he has shown in the past what he can do. One or two of the Poole riders are beatable both at Swindon and Poole. The overall result would be close but I think Swindon could edge it.
  8. Well that was a good result, even though some are complaining about the racing. I just hope that all you pessimists who predicted that Swindon would lose, many of whom also predicted we would lose at KL the week before, would be a bit more realistic. Yes the riders are unpredictable but Poole have not been outstanding recently. One or two of our riders still need to become more consistent if we want to progress, it is no good winning one race easily then coming last in the next, not only that it is frustrating for the fans. Well done Jason and Rohan with a brilliant performance.
  9. Weather still light overcast cloud but dry. Looking forward to a good meeting.
  10. Weather ok, still overcast with light cloud, no rain. But there is a depression coming up from the south which will go back about 10pm
  11. Only a few, just unclip the clips of the airbags to the fence and let the air out, probably half an hour( as long as it takes to walk round the outside of the fence and unclip say three clips per panel, then pull out the plugs and let the air out ). Have seen the job being done where there were only two or three people. You would need more people and time to put up or take down one cover. Putting the airbags in place or taking them away is a totally different and time consuming job.
  12. Most airfences are just deflated and left on the track, the putting up and taking down of covers is a totally different, cumbersome and time consuming job, something that cannot be done with half a dozen volunteers unless they have got hours and hours free.
  13. We have had rain overnight but now weather dry with light cloud. There is a small amount of rain due between 3 and 5pm but it is a bit windy that should dry the track out.
  14. I am sure we could force ourselves, despite much reluctance, to accept 4 points.
  15. Rob If you go to the support section you will see how to delete a topic.
  16. Poole and Belle Vue may struggle to get all their meetings done if the weather continues like it has been the last couple of weeks, yet again this year there has been weeks without meetings.
  17. Seems to be the case, which has been questioned by a couple on here .
  18. That was because they were paid by the hour and not the job.
  19. Would not say that B Kurtz is a world star and if Nick rides like he did at KL and is capable of at Swindon he will beat Brady. It is difficult to predict who will beat who as both teams have riders that have either gone well at the Abbey or have had a mare. At one meeting Hans has scored 12 at another 3, the same with Nick Morris.
  20. OK his prediction is wrong which makes the score shown wrong. Swindon will win this
  21. That may well be the case but what needs to be learnt is that probably some fans from away clubs will not take the risk in travelling to Belle Vue if there is the slightest chance of weather issues. Too often we hear the comment lessons will be learnt but they are not and the mistakes keep happening because of the lack of professionalism and guidance from the people running the operation.
