  1. Because it was not Leicester that made Doyle, it was his attitude and approach to what he was doing, he would have improved anywhere. His main sponsor threatened to drop him if he did not start taking things seriously.
  2. And is often the first to offer to guest for an injured rider if one is needed.
  3. We should have quite a large catchment area as the nearest NL team is either IOW, Birmingham or Coventry.
  4. These will reduce or even eliminate many of the flooding problems we have had in the past and stop any track surface scouring.
  5. We shall see when Swindon visit if they can beat BV again.
  6. It will be worth £10 to see some of the hopefully future riders. I would not mind a NL team if we are going to have the gaps in the schedule in 2017 that we have had this year.
  7. I was told they were having a party in them last night.
  8. An expected win with a bit more fire than previous weeks, great scores from Jason, Josh and Nick and Justin seems to have got the bike gremlins sorted out. What is strange is that now Rohan had a mare of a meeting. We have to try to get a point at either BV or Lakeside to see if we can be in the play offs.
  9. It could be the same as the present track where the speedway track is lower than the dog track which allows for banking, the top of which is also below the level of the dog track, also the majority of scouring of the surface is where water comes off the dog track on to the speedway track because there is no drainage between the two.
  10. Hopefully they will design it to have drainage between the dog track and the speedway track, and then good drainage on the inside of the speedway track, one can only hope that someone who knows what they are doing is involved with the design.
  11. For anyone coming to this, weather dry and fine all day.
  12. So Hans admission that his injury is not as bad as thought and that he will probably be able to ride has upset Matts thought to claim he cannot ride through injury and bring in a ringer for the play offs, ah what a shame.
  13. You do deserve and need something to cheer you up and then start with a fresh line up in 2017
  14. Leicester visit this thursday and this is a must win meeting for Swindon if we want any hopes of getting to the play offs, otherwise this may well be our last home meeting this season, subject to what the Inter-league challenge on Sep 15th is. The Robins need to up their game and if they all ride as they can we can get three points but with some of the riders being inconsistent anything could happen. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2758
  15. Would look forward to that if it turns out that EL meetings leave as many free thursdays as we have had this year.
  16. Should be an interesting meeting where many can see new riders they have not seen before, I wonder if Rosco is putting this on to look for talent for the future and also if we have to have another British NL rider in the team next year.
  17. They seem in the past to have changed their mind, originally it was going to be the shape of Birmingham, now it seems to be of Cardiff, but agree they need to get it right the first time. I hope it allows for fast racing with different racing lines.
  18. Thanks, am so busy do not know what month it is. Have changed post. No
  19. Two new meetings have been added to the fixtures for August, but no details seem to be anywhere yet. And no one of them is NOT a final farewell meeting Sept 8th National League Select Sept 15th Inter-League Challenge
