  1. Anyone who did not bother going last night missed a very good meeting. There was plenty of action between the two sides and heat 6, with D Ayres and L Carr, was a race to watch time and time again, possibly a race to equal any race at Blunsdon all season. They may have been NL riders and a couple were very young but it was as good as an EL meeting. If that standard of racing is an example of NL lets have it next year along side EL. Next week we have a PL select that from the line up, mentioned above, should be another very good meeting. If others enjoyed the meeting and racing let the club or Rosco know.
  2. That seems to be the problem with quite a few promoters, they do not properly promote the sport when ever possible. The above example is good plus clubs ought to give massive discounts or even free tickets to schools during the holiday period.
  3. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2763 A test meeting at Swindon to see if a NL team may be viable in 2017 with a mixture of riders for Swindon against Coventry Storm.
  4. A big change tonight for any interested fans Swindon Sprockets v Coventry Storm - an NL meeting being tried to see if there is any demand for a possible Swindon NL team in addition to EL next year. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2763 Apologies for putting this in the EL section but it would not get noticed elsewhere.
  5. Are you saying that he mentioned that tonight, bit of a waste of time if people are watching it. If the showing of speedway on this free channel had been advertised on all the non sport channels for a couple of weeks before the meeting then others might have been watching it.
  6. No disrespect for Branford but there must be better options, if you were faster you could have had Tungate.
  7. So can you get this channel if you do not pay sky and where ?
  8. That would be good but at the moment they are not reporting showing Lakeside-Swindon
  9. Could well be and this meeting is far more important than BV Poole, not only that they are showing Poole this wed. He sees his predictions in the bottom of a bowl of noodles
  10. It seems sky has screwed up and got the wrong meeting on its What to watch website. It is being reported that the Lakeside - Swindon meeting has NOT been moved to mon 12th, and twitter from sky says still showing BV - Poole. Have no idea why sky want to show Poole two weeks running.
  11. Bloody sky, they have nothing on the schedule site at the start of Sept then when they do put information on it it not correct.
  12. Yes, now listing has Lakeside - Swindon http://www.skysports.com/watch/speedway-on-sky
  13. Sept 8th is now Swindon Sprockets - Coventry Storm Sept 15th PL Select, whatever that is.
  14. And Swindon fans and possibly management, the change of date is not even on the website yet, but glad they are showing it even though the racing is usually not very good there.
  15. Sky have just uploaded their tv schedule for the start of September and are showing Lakeside - Swindon on Mon Sept 12th http://www.skysports.com/watch/speedway-on-sky So they have not only changed their original schedule from Belle Vue - Poole they have got Lakeside to change their race schedule. Swindon have not even got this change on their fixtures yet.
  16. I can see Poole ending up 4th in the play off positions
  17. No, I think the next meeting is Poole - Kings Lynn on wed, shame really as tomorrows will be more interesting, but both will be a bit one sided.
  18. Will ask those who pass the site to report any progress which should start Oct/Nov unless the council and others are being duped again.
  19. Especially when neither number one wants to ride at Lakeside or Leicester
