  1. If you read the earlier post the most of the Swindon riders are riding elsewhere, so it is not an option.
  2. Is anyone going to what looks like a very good meeting tonight, where are all the posts. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2770
  3. Most of Swindons riders are racing elsewhere on Saturday, mind you if we can get all the guests Poole had when they beat Lakeside it would be good, but it is too short notice to arrange. Racing Sat night is not an option, Lakeside should have sorted the meeting before the cut off day.
  4. My reports just show a very light shower at about 8. Weather at the moment bright and sunny.
  5. Swindon take on a select team made up of EL and PL riders for this home meeting http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2766 This looks to be a good meeting following on from the good NL meeting last week and the disapointment of the result at Belle Vue. Just remember this could be our last home meeting here but no nicking any more shale just in case we are back in 2017.
  6. Tonight has again shown up the Robins inconsistencies, we now need to get things sorted out for friday or all hope for rain.
  7. Even if we do get lucky on friday we are going to have to up our game to get past the semis.
  8. This year it seems we have nearly always had one rider have a bad night, some are too inconsistent.
  9. KK £200 less Linback £200 less Ljung £280 less Good luck to the rest of the punters.
  10. Accept that, Rosco would need to get a couple of new riders with very low averages who could improve. Or could these two be part of this shared number one spot as part of a squad that people are hinting at that may be in operation next year.
  11. Chris with Jason would be a strong top two, along with some of those riding at Swindon tomorrow could make a good team
  12. If Jason was not able to ride I would have wanted King or Chris Holder as a replacement.
  13. Swindon return to BV needing to get at least one point to end up in a play off position. They beat BV at the start of the season and are wanting to do their best. Jason Doyle had a big off on monday but states he is ok to ride and Rohan had a good night riding for Poole against BV on monday scoring 12 from 5 rides beating all of the BV riders. BV have a couple of good reserves in their team and we will have to try to keep their scores to a minimum, but all our riders will need to perform. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2767
  14. Unless Matt brings in a ringer I cannot see them progressing as some of their team are not performing, also it is unlikely they will have Rohan able to ride for them.
  15. He does ride for a good team but just thought he would make a bit of cash and help out a team that needs help Yes he had a blinder tonight, sign him up Rosco before Matt does
  16. The Roobins have a massive week where we need one point from the two meetings, Belle Vue on wed and Lakeside on friday, to secure 4th place in the play offs. On Thursday we have what looks like a very good meeting at Swindon with a couple of EL riders and mostly PL riders from different clubs when Swindon take on a guest select . The Swindon team has the normal riders plus Brady Kurtz in place of Jason, and the Select has a collection of good riders who know the Swindon track led by Chris Harris. This team is Chris Harris, Ryan Douglas, Aaron Summers, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Kyle Newman, Bradley Wilson-Dean. http://www.swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2766 This has the making of another meeting well worth watching. PS Sorry this is in the EL section but cannot think where else it would be best to put it.
  17. Hyderd does not ride for the team, so has little influence
  18. What has the price of fish got to do with it
  19. I also really enjoyed the meeting and would have thought the numbers were nearer 500 at a rough estimate, maybe Rosco may report how many . A couple of riders stated that it was a bigger crowd than they get at Birmingham. Does anyone know if D Ayres is on the FTR list, yes I know he is not a youngster, and if yes why did we not use him when Stefan was injured. Make a note, a possible guest rider if one is needed next season Rosco. If that is what the NL is like lets have it next year along side our EL team. If others enjoyed it let the club or Rosco know.
