Do not really see the need to follow the same league names as football but what are they going to do when the top footy league becomes the Mc Donalds league followed by the lower Witherspoons league, change again. Luckily at the moment the third footy league is called the National League, but soon to become The Pound Shop League. No doubt I will get used to these daft league names at some point.

I see from twitter that Rosco is giving a talk on Sam FM Swindon, whatever that is, about the plans for the new stadium. If anyone heard or hears it can they report what the latest news is, thanks

With the extra PL meetings I can see d/u s being a big problem due to more clashes of meetings

I wish they would have done that which would have allowed Swindon to have had two top heat leaders, but you cannot adjust some averages and not all. After a month or two the riders will get proper averages and not the false ones for some riders that were earned last year due to the previous great plan, which was something many fans could see would happen.

There is a thread in the News and Discussion section. We were told work would start on Oct 28th, then that work was delayed a couple of weeks. One individual posted that someone had dug a few holes at the site. That is it.

Most of the teams are over 40 points already this season so I cannot see that there will be much or any space for them to double down next season.

Do not think you be in luck with that hope, but it may defer any increase in entry price.

Many financial organisations take on ex sportspeople as financial advisors to flog their products to their sports contacts. Now I have no idea if Mr Morton was any good or not but it is a practice used by many companies. Many footballers have been conned into flogging rubbish products to other footballers. There was the case of quite a few snooker players who were fleeced out of a lot of money by investing in dodgy investments sold to them by an ex snooker player.

No he only mentioned a change in the conversion rate in |May, presumably between the two leagues. With the championship league now seeming to have more meetings than previously is this going to make doubling up, down and sideways more difficult or full of guests for any d/u position.

Just to clarify, it is not 1.4 on top of an EL average it is an EL average multiplied by 1.4.

The overall standard will be lower but if all teams are in the same boat will it matter. The main issue that I see is that the riders could well be strung out due to the standard of riders.

They pay the most so they can dictate the terms, a rider does not have to agree to and sign the contract with that team. If they want to sign the world champion he may have the clout to refuse to sign a contract with that clause in it, then it would be up to the club to make a decision to change their contract and take him on or not.

Jason will not be averaging 10 per meeting, having come back from an injury, he might up his average after one or two months, think about it !!!!!!!

If past decisions are anything to go by I doubt if they have thought of that. I can also see teams keeping their scores down for the the first month or two.

Do you think the bspa have thought of that, based on previous agm changes I would be surprised if they have.

So the meeting between the bottom top league and top bottom league teams could be interesting as each team could be trying to get the lowest score.

Coming back from injury could really hamper his scoring ability for a month or two.

Would not be surprised if the brains at the bspa have slipped up, if they cannot even put out a correct statement about the 1.4 %.

It is a good job two new teams have come up otherwise quite a few would be out of a job, along with other 6 - 7 point riders from other teams.
