  1. Or they have been reading this forum and having a rethink re the design
  2. That would be ok and the club could list its meetings each on each month, yes I know there would be changes but that would only need a pen to alter schedule. Not sure if the number of sales would cover the production costs though.
  3. There seemed to be quite a bit of damage shown in pictures a few weeks ago of the inside of the bars etc but nothing like these pictures are showing. It does seem stupid to cause this much damage, only to have to repair it and say it will be fixed before March.
  4. Which would be like a take off ramp for the bikes each time they crossed it.
  5. Was not impressed at all with Lambert in both his meetings at Swindon this year, will have to see if he improves next year.
  6. But there is no point just having a logo that the majority who see it have no idea what it stands for. I have often seen companies spend tens of thousands showing logos at sporting events that very few have an idea who the company is or what it does. The same with adverts at sporting events shown on tv, some of the adverts do not stand out and cannot be read easily.
  7. As John Leslie pointed out the majority of people in this country would think SCB is the logo of a scaffolding company, that is why it needs to have a bike on it or mention Speedway. As someone else said they should have put out a request for fans etc to submit entries then put the best few to a vote, as whatever the bspa do seems always to go wrong. The first logo is probably the best out of the three and at the moment seems to have the highest vote, but even that one is not good.
  8. Only one has got a speedway bike on it and even that one is a bit naff, the other two are no good as anyone who does not follow speedway would not have a clue what SGB is. With the new names most people would think it is something to do with football.
  9. For the riders it is a good move in order to progress, the more experience the better.
  10. Think about the connection of the clubs it is supposed to have supported and claimed to attend. The information it used to have access to.
  11. What do you expect from kks, usual bull rubbish as seen on many threads posted by all the aliases.
  12. Zach d/u with Lakeside and Bradley, who won the New Zealand Championship yesterday is d/u with Peterborough.
  13. If they have found in favour of one, it would seem then that anyone else who sues should also get the the same legal result. For anyone thinking of sueing it might be worth checking if a joint action by many is going to take place and join in with that rather than try to sort something out individually from the UK, unless you know a solicitor in Poland. The legal person who won this case might be the best to use.
  14. I hope tonight goes well and is enjoyable. Is anyone going to either post on here or tweet tonights team announcements as they happen ?
  15. I also hope that things get sorted as Coventry has lots of fans that will lose the club they follow.
  16. But riders can get paid a "bonus" or a special payment from a sponsor, so I should not worry about the points scored.
  17. Don't worry when Wimborne Road is shut no doubt Matt will have the Poole home meetings at Swindon, but we will not mind having to watch an inferior team for a while We would let Bradley or Zach show your riders how to ride the track.
  18. Just be wary if this lot get the go ahead to redevelop Wimborne Rd. We have an old stadium we can use, Poole only have one.
  19. Thanks for that Danny, in which case we may well see him in the first meeting if the management thinks it will do him good and he takes up the offer to ride.
  20. I think he is not 16 until part way through this year and I understand he cannot ride in NL until he is 16, so we may possibly see him towards the end of the season. If the management invite the young Lions again he would be able to ride if he is in that series next year.
  21. I used to work for a charity and they bought along some E & S bloke, everybody nodded and gave the impression they were listening. Within a couple of weeks most of the people left because of the time it took to follow all the E & S procedures and fill out all the paperwork, which left very little time to do the job that people wanted to do and had been doing for years without incident. Now hardly any work gets done.
  22. Swindon Sparrows, Sprockets or whatever the NL team is called is in a group with Plymouth and the IOW for the National Trophy, so initially they will have 4 meetings. Hopefully they may have the odd challenge as well. http://swindonrobins.co/news.php?extend.2807
  23. Brady has done OK in the EL this year, has Holder junior ever ridden in the EL yet. Calling these two the turbo twins of the future is very optimistic. Lets see how they do this year.
