It is a pity that he could not grab a position for any Championship club as things could pan out that at the end of April or May there may be team changes at Swindon that might have given him an opening!!!
I posted a couple of days ago that Justin has had talks but nothing was signed as yet, ie a couple of days ago, he is planning to fly back to the UK during Jan as he has to get a new visa by the end of Jan.
7.6 of the 50 point limit.
He is doing well in the Aussie Champs but even at Swindon last year he ended with an av of 5.4 so not a bad 2nd string.
Last year he got 5 and 9 in Swindons meetings at Leicester, the 9 was as a heat leader number 5, 2,3,1,1,2,0, so not bad.
Five of the team are signed up for the lower leagues, so they have a bit of fallback.
It is K Bjeere and J Sergeant who are left without a position anywhere at the moment.
Not sure who their contracts are with but will the riders be able to sue for a cancelled contract? as having been given one they were not able to contact any other club.
Despite wanting to make some waves there is not a lot the fans can do as it is a greyhound stadium and Speedway just rents it off the dog people.
Each time the directors or local MP are approached they come out with the same old story that things are progressing.
I am not sure if any questioning of Mike happened at the fans quiz night a couple of weeks ago and what answers were given, but again it is obvious that the timescales given out continually by the Speedway owners have all been wrong.
