  1. I wonder if the management will be having a fans forum before April
  2. The room for improvement up to 42 points will come from the averages earned under a race format which does not have races that have produced false averages for some riders last year. Some teams will find their average drops.
  3. I think a few clubs will be looking at the new averages and performances of individual riders when the listings are published in April and May.
  4. Really feel for the fans and the riders who have got very little time to sort something out for this year. I saw a tweet earlier that stated that there was a delay from friday till today so that Coventry could inform the riders before this decision went public but it seems from at least one rider that he has not received any notification about the closure until he read about it today on the SGP site. As others have said the league will not be the same without The Coventry Bees.
  5. There is a thread on Oxford in the News and Discussion section
  6. Latest pictures of track on @SpeedwayLions courtesy of Steve Dixon Photos. Hope this ok to show on here. The actual tweet has three more photos
  7. This years fans forum should be interesting, if they have one.
  8. You beat me to that one Phil. Thanks in advance for the report and info.
  9. Yes and speaking to a couple of owners they are as much in the dark and fed up as we are. The indoor market there is almost empty now with most of the stall holders having moved elsewhere.
  10. I seem to recall that Dave Jessop was not big and had a good speedway record.
  11. No doubt followed with more excuses from Mr Shovler
  12. Well done, weather looks ok tues but a bit wet wed morning and all day thurs. It seems that the weather is very changeable and will need checking each day for the next couple of weeks.
  13. Aren't Stadia UK looking to redesign Poole Stadium next, so they should be keeping a close eye on what is happening here.
  14. So it seems that the planning restrictions on the number of properties that can either be built or sold must now have been exceeded. Mind you it might be that by moving in one digger, a couple of cabins and building a gabion wall might be seen as a start if the planners max number of houses was conditioned on the starting of the stadium build. If that is the case the planners are not too clever, which being Swindon Council would not surprise me. How safe is the condition that the existing stadium cannot be demolished until the new one is up and running?
  15. Because they have believed all the bs from Stadia UK.
  16. That is ok but I, probably like many others, am getting fed up with all the bs about this new stadium and the past stupid building time scales the fans have been told.
  17. I hope that this is not the case but if that does happen it just proves that more bs has been given to and put out by the management.
  18. Nothing loosely about it, it is a big fast track, what I do not want to see is a micky mouse track that is too small.
  19. Try this site, it is usually quite accurate apart from on the actual day itself as they do not update it throughout the day. yr.no."location" ie yr.no.Leicester
  20. Other home meetings have now been added, did not see any messages on twitter, for the Sprockets: Thurs May 11th Sprockets v Plymouth Thurs May 25th Sprockets v IOW So a couple to go and watch Also a couple away Thurs May 18th IOW v Sprockets Fri May 26th Plymouth v Sprockets
  21. No we will beat all, especially that lot from down south Dorset way
