Good.

Rosco has just sent a picture from fitness centre at Kings Lynn so he is there. Maybe the plan was fitness training yesterday and on the track today.

Should be able to connect laptop to tv with a cable if the tv is not too old, I can and often do with progs from utube or speedway gps when they are on laptop. Just check laptop and tv manual for which connections you need. I think I got a HDMI cable which cost about £4 from John Lewis, but any tech shops will have them.

Most of the advertising at Swindon is from local companies, why would they be concerned that their banners or signs are not seen nationwide on sky or bt. I would think this is the case for the majority of clubs. I do not think anyone from Ipswich would contact a company in Swindon because they saw a banner on the airfence at Swindon. It may be different if the advertiser was a National company but there is not one for speedway.

Cannot see many clubs covering the loss in fan attendance or any reduced entrance fee by stadium advertising. The only hope is that by reducing the entrance fee, say to £10, a lot more people attend and possibly some of those may go and watch more often if the presentation and racing is good.

That is the new name for the back straight bog
-
But are there that many who are prepared to pay even more money to watch football, football and more football.
-
A concern is that if there is no income from tv will any of the premier league clubs not be able to afford to see out this season let alone next year and onwards?.
-
Agree, but there will be an indication of proper, new, averages after a few meetings, the replacing of riders is something that those in charge of the team limits should have worked out as there will be changes or injuries to cover.
-
You can fit missiles on drones these days so you could get them back
-
It makes more sense if they use "proper" averages attained in April to the 40 points. Whichever way it is done there will be issues when bringing in a rider with a 2016 average.
-
Press and Practice day changed to March 30th, practice at 5pm and meet the riders in the grandstand at 7pm. So it looks like no Challenge meeting prior to Leicester away on 1st and BV at home on 6th.
-
When the limit drops to 42 then any new rider coming in should be, to use your example, the 8 and not the 11.2.
-
There is a condition like that but not sure of the number and if it is limited to when the stadium is started or finished. Putting up the gabion wall could be seen as the start of the stadium build.
-
Time now for a spring clean
-
Agree, too much self interest from individuals, mind you with some of them it was their money they risked, but they do seem to have made some strange decisions that have reduced the sports appeal and money making opportunities.
-
Even when they pointed out that some of the timescales for completion were unrealistic.
-
Anyone with a drone with a camera would be a good option if there is a local contact with one.
-
Stadia may have a "commitment" but that does not mean they will build one, the new stadium being built has been dragging on for years now and one of the worries must be that as more people move in the more people there are to possibly object to the stadium. If Stadia did look at using Oxford and offered to let speedway use Oxford, Swindon Council might forget the requirement on Stadia to provide a stadium at Blunsdon. As far as Oxford stadium is concerned It would be great if both Swindon and Oxford had speedway tracks.
-
Because GI could use the excuse of having a track at Oxford would mean that they would not have to build the new one at Swindon. They are dragging their heels at Swindon and nothing is happening. The main issue would be that only a very few fans who go to Swindon would travel to Oxford, so would Oxford speedway be viable.
-
So we sit back and await the next announcement from the management as to their new projection of completion date along with a statement about the fans not needing to be concerned. We have continually had statements telling us that all is ok and progressing, which it is obviously not. No doubt we will get a statement about the possible moving of the U21 WC Final which will not take place in any new stadium. Are there any rumours about any fans forum yet.
-
The local rag has been involved but when questioned just repeats the information that is put out by Osbourne and GI. As mentioned before the speedway just rents the stadium and track so really has no power to push GI.
-
Only if it suits them. They have not got a clue what they are doing re other issues in the town so I would not trust them re their assurances about speedway or getting the developers to stick to what we have all been told.
-
As was any opportunity for those running British speedway to be paid money from the GPs, which could have been spent on the training etc of the British youngsters and Team. The members of the bspa do not seem to be that switched on as far as forward thinking and income planning goes.

How is he doing that, the kerb stones weigh as much as Josh does
