It often seems to be the case that after a couple of week break some of our riders fall asleep at the gate, this happened a few times last year where we had unexpected losses. Last night was not good and we should have won but what did not help was BWD injuring his hand in his first race and the awful performance of A Ellis. The big difference was in the reserves with ours scoring 6 and KL scoring 12 from a very good performance from Kai Huckenbeck. From what Rosco has commented on the middle order need to up their game and they will have to show what they can do in the next few meetings. With having to have two British riders in the team that does limit any changes that Rosco could make and it may be that a decent or recently signed rider may have to give way for a change, what also is not helping is the complete screw up with the mucking about with the averages. We did not seem to get heavy rain in South Swindon, anyway lets hope that the sunny spells and wind tomorrow makes the track raceable.
