One question though is how many of the usual fans might still be on lock down

Will British Speedway Survive ?

If you count the blocks of 100 people, plus all those in the bars the total at most meetings would be between 1300 and 1500. -

Especially when clubs run on a school night and many do not have public transport that runs past the track, so unless their parents take them they cannot get to and from a meeting. -
everybody can have their own kiosk which could isolate the fans from each other in case another virus is exported from China

As expected all speedway meetings have been suspended and the situation will be reviewed on April 15th http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/news.php?extend.37980 -
P & P due to take place on wed has been cancelled, no doubt followed by a delay to the start of the season.

After the bspa meeting on tues and with the number of riders not traveling here from europe already, I would not expect any meetings in the UK until an all clear for spectators at sporting events is announced by the govt. -
Possibly, but then the Danish govt might want them to go into isolation on each return from any country with a level of the virus above a certain level.

But you have to remember that it is the bspa that come up with these ideas and how they are applied.

The ski slope was a project that idiot Heenan is responsible for, just like the state of the town centre redevelopment, yet nothing happens.

That happens at most of the clubs -
That is only one year, look at the rest

It is a good job Poole moved to the lower league as they would be in trouble with all the changes they make.

Swindon also widened the straights by about a mtr and shortened the straights which reduced the overall length from 360 to 315 mtrs. What is good is that the racing speeds are higher and the new width of the straights and bends gives more racing lines.
