  1. If Sayfudtinov leads Leszno to another league title and he wins the SON with Artem, you could argue that he's had a better season than Zmarzlik.
  2. Not a problem, I had a pretty hefty bet on them too. Bet365 have priced Russia up correctly at 11/8, 9/4 is way too long for Emil and Artem.
  3. Russia are 9/4 to win the Speedway of Nations at William Hill. Some bookies still think Woffinden and Janowsji are riding. Opportunity to bet on Russia, Denmark or Australia IMO.
  4. I'm told Jack Holder said he'd only ride if he was in the top 2. Fricke was picked ahead of him, which I disagree with! The same reason why Grigory Laguta and Nicki Pedersen aren't listed as riding in this event. Why bring over your equipment to be a reserve?
  5. What is everybody fancying for the Speedway of Nations? Denmark at 16/1 with Madsen and Thomsen looks like a value bet for me. Russia at 9/4 look good value too, Poland without Janowski.
  6. Has anyone else found it strange how we get fewer engine failures in the sport? Kind of ruins the entertainment. Nothing more exciting than seeing a rider leading until the last lap and their engine blows up.
  7. Woffinden should be fit, only a finger issue apparently. I'm sure he can get through a couple of rides.
  8. A real shame that Max Fricke fluked a win on Saturday, Jack Holder is the much superior rider.
  9. Gorzow's best chance of winning the league is preparing the same track as tonight and then hoping that Emil crashes. If Gorzow prepare that track for Friday, the meeting should not be allowed to go ahead.
  10. This meeting should be called off. The track is not fit for purpose. Wroclaw should go through.
  11. That was horrible, Niels looks ok though. Woffinden thankfully ran over his legs rather than his upper body.
  12. Dudek rode brilliantly at Lublin recently. Hampel is finished at the elite level IMO.
  13. I think it's brilliant, Formula 1 do something similar with their qualifiers and race day. It certainly makes sense if you're going to go to Australia or Russia for a GP series, with all of the travelling; it makes sense to have 2 rounds. If local promoters are concerned about crowds then have two rounds with venues relatively close, one at Torun and one at Bydgoszcz.
  14. If it's at Lublin, Russia have to pick Grigory Laguta. His home track.
  15. Russia's GDP on its own is higher than Poland, Sweden and Denmark's combined GDP. If the BSI are serious about cracking the Russian market then Grigory should get a wild card.
  16. Marcus Birkemose is a generational talent. In a couple of years, he could be better than Zmarzlik.
  17. Double rounds are surely a must next year, they're brilliant.
  18. Fricke doesn't deserve a wild-card, he's been crap for most of the series. Emil and the Laguta brothers all deserve wildcards. I'd also like to see Lidsey, Kubera and Piotr Pawlicki in the series. Leszno are the best team in the world but only have 1 rider in the GP series.
  19. 8 from 3 rides. I bet you boys are sweating.
  20. All jokes aside, Fricke has rode well tonight but been crap for most of the season. No way should he get a wild card.
