Loads of Panthers fans in town. Feels like an away game at the football. -
Wolves vs pboro semi final 1

One factor people are forgetting is that this Panthers side has a lot of experience. There won't be any play-off nerves for the Panthers. Can you say the same about Masters, Douglas, Becker and Nicol? I can't see anything but a Panthers victory. -

Will be finishing at 2pm tomorrow, then driving to Wolverhampton. Anyone know of any good places to eat? -

This is going to be such a close tie. They are a much younger and fresher side. It's been a long season and the old Panthers team are going to be very tired. -

This is a 50/50 tie, only 1 point separated the two teams in the regular season. Wolves will be under more pressure. They have a full 1-7, while the Panthers are without their number 1. -
Peterborough Panthers 2022
LagutaRacingFan replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
BV took advantage of being council-funded. Other clubs have had to cut their cloth accordingly and don't get stadiums funded by taxpayers. Panthers had a lower budget than BV, yet finished above them. That's a story. -
Peterborough Panthers 2022

Why wouldn't Buster run? The club's made a very healthy profit. The Panthers fanbase is huge and we have the best track in the league. Ostergaard's average in 2021 was 7.84, his rolling average is 7.09. You could make an argument that his actual average is below his current level of performance. Obviously, you have to factor in the fact that he rode at reserve for a long period. However, I would persevere with him as he is a great team man. Out of this current team, I would love to see Hans, Harris, Toft, Palin and Ulrich retained. If we could fit in Jack Holder and Crump then it would be a great team. 1. Holder 2. Hans 3. Ulrich 4. Toft 5. Harris 6. Crump 7. Palin -

Peterborough will be a hard nut to crack in the play-offs. Andersen and Harris step up a level when the pressure is on. -

Disagree. You could see teams trying to lose on purpose. -

What a joke. NBA play-off games get organised within a few days. I don't see how British Speedway can't operate in the same manner. This has ruined tomorrow's match against Lynn. Buster will be fuming about the fans who now won't attend a dead rubber. -
The teams finishing 1st and 2 deserve to have their 2nd legs at home. Sheffield will need to find a neutral track IMO.

I suspect they will be a lot happier. 4 evenly matched teams in the playoffs will be great for viewers. Both legs will go down to the wire. Compare that to the dross in Poland. I can't wait for next week.
