  1. I've cancelled plans with the other half and I will be closely watching Nicki tomorrow evening. Let's see how Nicki gets on.
  2. Panthers officials have flown out to Poland for crunch talks with Nicki. Big 24 hours.
  3. Nicki's legacy in the sport will be tarnished if he pulls out of his Panthers contract. The world titles will have an asterisk next to them.
  4. If that happens, Nicki should be sacked on the spot.
  5. With respect to a tin pot club like Grudziadz, we we are the Peterborough Panthers.
  6. Nicki is committed to the Panthers. Nothing has changed.
  7. He had to go to Poland to obtain a medical exemption for missing the Polish League's individual championship. If he didn't travel to Poland and just pulled out, he would have been barred from riding in the club's league match next weekend. Poland take their individual championship very seriously and don't like riders pulling out.
  8. Emil loves the British fans, that's utter nonsense from the plastic Aussie.
  9. If the Panthers are serious, they should drop Worrall for Kenneth Bjerre.
  10. Nicki is probably more annoyed with the track. If that isn't sorted, he won't be riding in England for much longer.
  11. Nicki has already told his Polish team that he will be riding at the weekend.
  12. Agree. A huge crowd and if it wasn't for Emil, many would have gone home disappointed.
  13. Nobody doubts top riders draw crowds. The problem is that the top riders don't want to ride in Britain due to money and logistics. They're happy just to do Poland and the GPs. The only reason Nicki is riding in Britain is to boost his pension fund. Emil is riding in Britain because of his GP ban / being rusty due to the Russian ban. If Emil is invited back into the GPs next year, will he be riding in the Premiership next year? I highly doubt it.
  14. Nicki is a professional. I really can't see him pulling out a commitment. Reading Polish media, Nicki is fine and just has a sore back. He will be back to his very best. Ipswich got a very lucky break tonight. Nicki was beating Bartosz and Artem last night, he would have had no problem with Doyle and the lesser Russian.
  15. If I'm correct, we have 7 points to replace Richie Worrall. Using the money from the gate tonight (£22 x 3000 = £66,000), we can tempt any rider in world speedway. 1. Janusz Kolodizej - 6.51 2. Dominik Kubera - 7.00 3. Kacper Woryna - 6.36 4. Piotr Pawlicki - 7.00 5. Rohan Tungate - 6.61 6. Mikkel Michelsen - 7.00 7. Krystof Buczkowski - 6.02 8. Antonio Lindback - 7.00 9. Kenneth Bjerre - 7.02 - He might fit, do rolling averages get updated at the end of the month? So our team average may have dropped by 0.02? My preference is the below. 1. Mikkel Michelsen 2. Janusz Kolodziej 3. Dominik Kubera 4. Kenneth Bjerre 5. Kacper Woryna
  16. Anyone else think it is a tragedy that Emil will be riding most of his meetings at Foxhall? Emil must wish he was a Panther.
  17. Richie Worrall is a waste of space. The money from the gate tonight should be used to sign a decent 7 point rider.
  18. Sayfutdinov shouldn't even be riding. Ridiculous how Ipswich are happy to support propaganda for Putin.
  19. Nicki is beating Bartosz and Artem in Poland. Not looking good for Ipswich.
  20. Weather forecast for Monday is clear skies. Going to be a great night. I don't mind paying £22 for the line-up we are getting.
  21. I'd advise fans to turn up at 6pm, this is going to be a 3,000 plus attendance. Emil, Nicki and Doyle in 1 meeting is insane.
  22. So disappointed, it was going to be my first visit to Foxall.
  23. I hope Thursday's meeting doesn't dampen the optimism around Ipswich. The club seems to be on the right track and a league title is surely not far away.
