Belle Vues National Speedway Stadium
LagutaRacingFan replied to Phil The Ace's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Forget an 80cc track, Let the younger lads ride on the big track. It will only make them better and that's how Sayfudinov become such a good rider, He used to ride on big fields back in Russia with his scooter. -
That Danish U21 side would beat Team GB's full side.

Gp Rider Sponsorship
LagutaRacingFan replied to Matt Davis's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The reason sponsors are not interested in Speedway is pretty simple, Speedway is regarded as a low class sport which low class people are interesting in so why promote a product to a target audience that has low incomes Golf has tons of sponsorship as it's a high class sport played by high class people and watched by middle/high class people with high incomes. Also the media coverage for Speedway is non-existent. My friend in denmark said speedway is regarded as a redneck sport in Denmark. -

Crazy Russian does it again. Can't believe he left Polonia, The Polonia council should have dipped into their central funds to keep Emil at the club. Always in the bag Wouldn't mind seeing him at the Panthers. -

Niels is a class rider, Wouldn't be too sure and Holder's been in poor form. My money's on Emil EW with a possible return of £290. ... He is unbeatable around Polonia and unless he does something crazy, He will be fine. -
Can't believe you guys are making a big thing.... Rosco is a clever bloke and he knows that he can't do anything with Team GB... If he does manage Team Australia then that's not exactly a tough task as they have a strong side. Doesn't matter if we have Jesus in charge of Team GB; We won't get anywhere. But I don't see much difference in the talent between Australia and Team GB, Are the likes of Nick Morris ,Sam Masters, Dakota North and Alex Davies anywhere near the likes of Craig Cook, Richie Worrall, Richard Lawson and Josh Auty? I doubt it... Ward and Holder are good but Harris seems to turn into a decent rider in SWC events and Woffinden's ever improving, Not much to split them in my opinion.

Sky's Additions To It's Speedway Coverage.
LagutaRacingFan replied to Stephen7's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
when is Super Ryan Sullivan going to be back on our screens? They should have him on a separate show, Where he talks about the speedway world and we can ring into the studio and discuss the latest points about world speedway. -
Darcy Showing What A Pro He Is Again
LagutaRacingFan replied to speedibee's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Difference is Speedway is a sport that isn't cared about, No credible journalist covers it. Apart from that one time where Adrian Durham said Ryan Sullivan had retired. -
Meetings On Tv Coming Up For April
LagutaRacingFan replied to michaelcroucher's topic in International World of Speedway
How have you got all of these meetings, What sky channel is canal sport and NSport. -
No dis-respect to Mad Croc but when you consider riders that Red Bull have signed are the likes of Mikkel Bech Jensen and Maciej Janowski... Why hasn't Michael got a red bull sponsorship deal? He is the current World U21 champion, He could become the David Beckham of Speedway if he is marketed correctly, He's good looking, humble and has a lot of charisma.

Batchelor's finally accepted that Holder's in a different league to him, No more "Australian Number 1" quotes from him. -

Anyone seen what Batchelor was doing? http://torun.naszemi...id.html#galeria Edit: Am I seeing things? Is that Darcy.... "Anonymously betrayed one of the participants of the same event. champion of the world ejected from the event. After a while, they started to undress and brawl, for which they have been thrown out of the club" -
Danish Speedway On Tv
LagutaRacingFan replied to uk_martin's topic in International World of Speedway
Grindsted have the best rider in the league probably so they are huge favorites. -
Poland Sweden Australia Denmark Czech Republic Russia Venue: Torun on the 8th of June Riders: Tomas Gollob, Nicki Pedersen, Emil Sayfudinov, Andreas Jonsson and Chris Holder all confirmed TV Channel: Eurosport to broadcast to 54 countries (No idea if it includes the UK) So who do you guys fancy? If the Danish team manager picks Iversen then the Danes look strong but then he could pick Michael Jepsen Jensen ahead of Niels as he has done in the last 2 wild-cards, Australia look strong with Torun experiance Holder and Ward although they would look stronger with the king of the motoarena Ryan Sullivan; Emil Sayfudinov and Grigory Laguta form a powerful partnership and don't rule out the Swedes with AJ and possibly Freddy Lindgren or maybe even Tomas H Jonasson. From what I have read through google translate, The BSPA didn't want a GB team as it clashes with the UK schedule.
