  1. Because a couple of my mates went to the meeting and they said it was bad but they have seen worse at the Showground between Nicki and Troy. Nonsense, Dakota's been very impressive this year and he will continue to make strides forward and he recently had a guest booking for the Eagles against a power packed Poole side and he scored 8 points from 4 rides.
  2. Are you serious? Riders have done exactly the same or even worse than Dakota yet they haven't recieved a ban, Never mind some riders portraying the name of speedway in a negative way in the press. Maybe he had bike problems and he got desperate? We have all done things in the heat of the moment.
  3. Dakota's averaging 6.35 in the Elite League and he started on a 3.47 average and judging by Dak's scores in Poland, He is a long way away from the Premier League.
  4. Dakota was invited to race and he did that... He was desperate to hold onto the win and that's why he tried to shut the door on Ben and shutting the door is something that most riders do in Speedway.
  5. AJ EW with a £20 total stake returns £220 Can definitely see a Swede pulling it out of the bag on the night.
  6. Let's see on Sunday, Michael is dynamite around Torun... He was super-quick last year
  7. Belle Vue have removed the apology from the official site...
  8. I refute any suggestion of Dakota going onto that race track to injure or harm Ben Barker. It's a racing incident and things like that happen in Speedway and we should be celebrating the fact that both riders came out of it unscathed rather than unsavory comments. Regards
  9. http://speedwayresults.com/result.php?type=186&season=2013 http://speedwayresults.com/result.php?type=1099&season=2012 Niels's last 2 visits to Torun are 1,1,1,1 from 4 rides in 2012 and in 2013 he scored 1,1,2,2,0,3 Compare those scores to Michael's in the 2012 meeting: 0,3,3,3,2*,1 and Michael rides at Torun this Sunday and no doubt the Danish team manager will make his decision after that meeting. and Michael is a former Torun rider... Surely you understand why Michael would be the logical pick over Niels.
  10. It's better for Darcy if he doesn't turn up because Michael will embarrass him just like he did around Torun last year.
  11. Interesting comments from North regarding the Premier League. No doubt it puts some of the British riders to shame, Brits who are happy to stay in the Premier League instead of trying themselves out in Poland. As for any potential action taken, I don't think so as it was just a racing incident and the referee gave Dakota his punishment as he was excluded from the race.
  12. Thanks for the explanation, I think Dakota was just eager to impress on the night in order to try and catch the attention of some PL promoters but that isn't an explanation or justification for the moves. Edit: Dakota on twitter has just said that Ben had the chance to turn the throttle off Is that a fair comment from Mr North?
  13. What happened with Dak and Ben? Heard Dak had him running scared on the track and off it.
  14. Michael's struggling this season, I still think he needs UK racing to keep him sharp... He's only 20 years old so I have no idea why he dropped the UK. Kenni Larsen could be the Michael Jepsen Jensen of last year under Jan's wing.
  15. Anyone got the scorecards for this danish meeting and others? Is there a website?
  16. Good guest choice by the Edinburgh management, Cook has been flying for Workington.
  17. This makes it worse, In my opinion... The re-run should have Matej Zagar's place along with Zetterstrom's place in the side taken by 3.00 National League riders.
  18. A points deduction and all the Poole fans who traveled should be compensated fully for their travel, petrol and accommodation. Along with the Poole side have their flights paid for and again, There travel costs and accommodation covered.
  19. Cook did a good job but Lawson would have trapped in 15 but Cook did it in the exciting way. Good point for Workington considering Rene was struggling with bike problems.
  20. So who said Cook is better than Lawson? Nonsense.... Lawson's got a higher average because he is the better rider
  21. Also, I don't think this is BV's fault... It's the BSPA fault for making silly rules at the AGM that have meant that some teams were left without a Number 1 while others have 2... So BV had to employ Zagar who turns up when he wants with 1 bike and although he's a class act... Failing to board a plane for a big league meeting is a joke and the Aces promotion had no choice but to pull the plug with Mrockza being injured and uncharacteristically Zetterstrom also missing his flight meant that they would have had to track junior riders and got a crowd of 100.
  22. Keep Howe until August and then bring in a trump card like Tomas H Jonasson and him at reserve, you have a team capable of toppling swindon.
  23. A points deduction and fine must apply, BV must be made examples out of as if they get away with a fine, Other clubs with missing riders will pull the same trick and get away with a fine. It's a dangerous precedent that must be eradicated.
