You look at the Panthers middle-order and find me a weakness. Blackbird Bellego Oostergaard Bjerre Those four will rack up 45+ points tonight If you take into account the R/R rides for Fisher. Bjerre and Ulrich scored 11 each last time and the Panthers were let down by Dryml and Blackbird but this time around; Blackbird has sussed Derwent Park and Bellego is a Derwent Park track specialist. Prediction: Workington Comets 41-49 Peterborough Panthers WEMBLEY, WEMBLEY.. Panthers march into the cup final.

The Difference In Attendances At Tracks
LagutaRacingFan replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There isn't much going on in Kings Lynn so It's no suprise they get good crowds, Coventry is the same and the lack of night-life is apparent but the biggest factor is disposable income. Lynn is home to a lot of the middle-class farmers while Peterborough for example has a migrant population of 73% and these migrants are often in low income jobs. -
Remarkable to see that Woffinden has a 2014 GSA of 7.35 while leading the world championships, World Number 3 and 4 both average over a point higher and that's the reason why Kings Lynn and Poole are destined to make the Play-off's. A familiar story for Wolves, A poor season and the promise of a great season next year due to having riders on false averages, It's time for a clear out and the likes of Thorsell, Proctor and Wells are simply not good enough.

Get rid of Dryml and bring in Dakota North. Dak isn't riding in Poland at the moment so he's looking for more meetings. -
This is a horrendous decision, PK at his worst will score the same as Nilsson at his best.

Kildemand looks a different rider in the GP's and Morris is poor. The Robins need to string a run together to make the PO's -
Nicki Pedersen and Linus Sundstrom were very good for Peterborough.

Michael is working his way back to top form, It's only a matter of time before he clicks and when he does, The Bee's will be a scary side.
-
I'm actually shocked at the lack of a response from the Bee's fans, ironically they seem more passionate about Poole and Matt Ford bending the rules rather than the own survival of their own club. It's a case of, let's bury our head in the sands and then claim outrage when the inevitable happens, pro-action is needed, not a reaction.

Encouraging Young People To Become Fans!
LagutaRacingFan replied to Trees's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
The average age of a speedway fan is rising, It's only a matter of time that these older people have to start cutting back on finances and speedway hasn't tackled the issue of attracting young people to the sport and this is down to many reasons but the major ones revolve around value for money. Me and Laura (GF) attended a speedway meeting last month and It cost us £75 in terms of travel, tickets and a bit to eat and quite simply, for 16,17 and 18 year olds; there isn't the level of disposable income to justify this and the value for money argument is a big one; 15 races spread out over 2 hours usually in the freezing climate isn't great value for money. I recently attended a Kasabian concert and It cost me and Laura £85 for the night out but we got full value for money, Around 2 hours of pure concentrated music and there wasn't a 5 minute gap between each song. My solution is to get rid of the star riders, Price speedway at £5 for Adults and £1 for Under 18's, most of the general public don't even know who these star riders are. -

Interestingly there's no Polish league action tomorrow, no doubt if there was a meeting in Poland; Piotr would be riding. -

Horton needs to sort out his priorities, Peterborough speedway will have a stadium in 3 years and doesn't need capital investment of millions for a new stadium, He needs to look at the long-term project. Currently, he's prioritizing Coventry and this is short-term thinking. -

I was at Michael's first meeting at Wolves and he was sensational, He had worked out the Karlsson corridor in 2 races when it took PK two years. I honestly feel the Bee's will win this, Andersen, Harris and MJJ are 3 out and out heat-leaders around Monmore. 43-47 to the Bee's Top Scorer: MJJ - 13
