  1. I wonder what the Ben Barker fans make of his comments; we all know they slated Robert Lambert last year. I've yet to see Lambert come out in the media and slate the Panthers.
  2. Bjerre does read forums, he really cares about what the paying public think of his performances.
  3. Larsen would be a brilliant signing, how about Sundstrom?
  4. Ben will give it his all, he puts in 110% effort and you can't ask for much more than that. Anything is possible when you have a whole team pulling in the same direction, you only have to look at Leicester City.
  5. So Lambert signed a contract which means he will miss 9 Panthers meetings, he's basically shoved the managements faith in him back down their throats!
  6. Unfortunately that's the decision me and other young people face, speedway needs to get real and understand that it's not a £17 sport.
  7. Speedway is overpriced, I went last night to watch The Libertines at the o2 and the ticket cost me £35. That's only double what I would pay for speedway and the entertainment levels aren't even comparable!
  8. Kenni Larsen/Linus Sundstrom must surely want to ride in the UK> If Leicester could tempt one of them over then that would be a coup!
  9. I'm told the money Doyle was set to receive was linked to a loyalty bonus which Doyle broke the terms of.
  10. I think the Panthers would beat Lynn over 2 legs.
  11. Periscope is absolutely pointless; the quality is often poor and the angle of the view doesn't make for compelling viewing. I also go to speedway not only for the racing but for the atmosphere, company and banter with all the locals in the grandstand.
  12. If Lambert is going to miss fixtures then I would unfortunately have to remove him from the side. We have 1.78 to play with which means we have up to 6.97 to find a replacement for Lambert. Blackbird or Anders Thomsen would make us into a more formidable side.
  13. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean It's not good value.
  14. If you use that link for your regular fixtures, you'll have saved more than enough over the course of a season so you're allowed to purchase a programme for a one off event.
  15. Having loads in the bank in savings shouldn't deter you from being frugal. I still go to Marks and Spencer everyday to trawl through their stock in the hope of finding reduced items.
  16. Anyone who decides to purchase a programme is being ripped off! http://www.speedwayplus.com/programme_generator.shtml As for people being in their overdraft, It's a classic case of living beyond their means; make cutbacks and sacrifices. I have decided only to shower once a month rather than once a week and my water bill has fallen dramatically, instead I pop through Boots every morning on my way to work and use their sample perfume for free and I get a different fragrance every day.
  17. Leicester should never have let Buczkowski go, loyal riders are hard to find. Look at Doyle who's jumped ship.
  18. This idea that people can't save is a myth, they choose not to save. Sky TV, nights out, takeaways and phone contracts is chucking money away. My father told me, look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves.
  19. Instead of moaning about the cost, why don't people start saving? Put away a measly sum of £40 away per month and you'll be ready to go. Say no to the night out at the bingo, I put away £800 per month.
  20. By giving us notice of this event, fans can start saving now. I have £13000 saved up at the age of 20, It's amazing how much you can save if you make the sacrifices.
  21. Why re Kenneth? He may not be the best/most exciting rider in the world but he's capable of being a top rider and those are few and far between in the Elite League; he's also on a very low average for a rider of his ability.
