Domination, we're well on our way to the play-offs and we're going there with a sense of determination and an air of confidence, Craig Cook doesn't take no for an answer!
Morris has been a revelation since signing and It's brilliant to see Perry and NBJ back to their best, good to see Holub get paid 3 tonight; a solid performance from him.
A perfect week in August with beautiful sunshine, kids off school and no speedway decides to take a break.
Then they wonder why the sport is dying... Imagine a nightclub not opening on a Friday/Saturday night.
A tough meeting for the Panthers ahead with NBJ missing and R/R operating in his place; Craig Cook will be his usual fantastic self but the Panthers will need to back him up If they want to take anything out of this meeting.
As for the Monarchs; I wonder whether the German license issue is going to affect them?
As a Panthers fan, I don't feel any need to travel to other tracks.
It's like having a Marks & Spencer next door but travelling a hundred miles to visit Tesco's.
What do people make of this side?
1. Craig Cook - 10.17
2. Emil Grondal - 5.26
3. Anders Thomsen - 6.62
4. Lewis Blackbird - 6.16
5. Ulrich Ostergaard - 8.08
6. Zdenek Holub - 3.07
7. Draft Rider - 3.00
= 42.36
Three out and out number 1's, solid second strings in Grondal and Blackbird and Holub is capable of picking up points at reserve.
Credit has to go to the Monarchs for delivering a ruthless and clinical display; It's quite clear that the Panthers really need to find some consistency.
The fans need to get behind the riders and the club, we currently have a great chance of making the playoffs but we need to be united.
Holub is struggling at the moment but I have spoken to him on numerous occasions and he's trying ridiculously hard to try and get the correct set up, NBJ is a talented rider who on his day can beat anyone and Emil Grondal is exactly the same; consistency is the issue but I'm confident that we can make everything click.
I think with Cook in the side, It would have certainly been a different story.
Tungate and Josh G went unbeaten, easy task when you're not riding against the PL's number one.
I spoke to Craig earlier on and he was gutted about missing this trip; Somerset is a brilliant track and he was confident of us picking up an away win and I agree with him.
