  1. People do know that you can't bring in your own food/drink into Belle Vue? They will rip everybody off.
  2. Are you really comparing Jack Holder to Matej Zagar? Was Zagar riding in the top Polish league at 21?
  3. Difference between tickets sold and people there.
  4. Over 3,000 people were at the Showground today and they saw a cracking event.
  5. Actually 5+1, Poole's twitter got the Holder's mixed up. 5+1 against the field he was riding against is really impressive. Cook would have definitely scored 0.
  6. Because Jack Holder didn't fail to attend and neither did he withdraw. The Panthers released him.
  7. Just watching the Torun meeting and Jack Holder was brilliant. It's only when you compare his performance to Leszno last week that it becomes slightly disappointing. Edit; Zagar chucks his bike down in Heat 14, what on earth was the referee thinking?
  8. Have you seen his twitter? His reaction to the Panthers win was 'Yewwwwww good job'. He does care about the club.
  9. The art of negotiation. You have to act like you're not going to budge, Torun then got desperate.
  10. Edit: Torun aren't actually relegated as the club above them is actually on the same amount of points when you factor in their points deduction. The next two fixtures are still crucial for Torun and I suspect Holder will be riding for them on Sunday if required.
  11. That destroys the entire case against the Panthers. If a club feels they don't need a rider for a meeting then they should be able to release that rider. Who's to say Jack Holder would have matched Simon Lambert's score?
  12. In this instance, Holder didn't prioritise Torun and Poland. He told Torun that he would ride but only if the Panthers agreed to release him. Is it Peterborough's fault that a Polish club has silly money to throw around?
  13. Anyone see Ged being soaked in champagne? The champagne bottle apparently cost around £600, where is the money coming from? Thanks Torun.
  14. That's a Brexit sort of attitude. The world doesn't revolve around Britain.
  15. Anybody who criticises the Panthers after today's event is in denial. That was one of the best meetings I've ever attended. £20 for that many quality races. If every meeting was like that, the crowds would be huge.
  16. Not attending your club will only damage your track. That isn't the right way to protest.
  17. So let me get this right... We received £££ from Torun in order for them to use Jack Holder. We won anyway. Isn't life great?
  18. The response to the BSPA statement on twitter shows that Chapman is a deluded arrogant man. The fans are on the side of top riders like Jack Holder.
  19. Holder is looking to improve his life and put food on the table. Why do you hate him so much?
  20. I do. The fact is that if Torun offered any championship rider a Polish league spot riding for probably the richest club, they would be jumping on the first flight to Poland.
  21. Read between the lines of the statement. "Ourselves, Torun and Jack have come to an agreement that suits us all. Torun did initially ask us to release Jack for the rest of 2017, but the rider himself refused that. "I fully understand that some of our supporters may be disappointed that we are without Jack tomorrow in the Fours, but I ask them all to understand that the deal we've done is beneficial to all parties.
  22. Come on, name me other Championship riders who Torun will want to sign? You can't name any. Craig Cook is often regarded as the Championship's top rider and he's as useful as a one-legged donkey on Polish tracks.
