  1. I've worked out the three best possible guests for the Panthers. Steve Worrall, Jason Garrity and Kyle Howarth. All three are track specialists around Rye House, they will ensure a Panthers win.
  2. I'm fairly certain he isn't. He's not in any declared 1-7. A shame as Kennett would have been ideal. He should be allowed to guest, a British rider out of work is not good for British Speedway.
  3. Why would the Showground landlords give Lakeside Hammers, free lights?
  4. Worrall and Garrity fit for Nicholls and Palm Toft. Barker (is he fit?) in for Ulrich. Worrall, Grondal, Barker, Garrity, Lambert and Wilkinson. That would be my side. I am not up to date with the rules but would there be anything stopping the Panthers using Broc Nicol as a replacement for Tom Bacon?
  5. Steve Worrall should be a nailed on certainty for Nicholls. He rides Rye House very well.
  6. That's why I used the term special dispensation. Very unfair on Panthers who are being punished for so many injuries.
  7. Important factor in this meeting. Panthers riders will have the right set up from Heat 1. They will just carry over the bike changes from last night. Hope we book some decent guests for Wednesday. Will we get special dispensation to use Wells and Harris?
  8. Ordinarily, I would say that the result was a foregone conclusion looking at the first 7 heats. But, Ged's comments about bike changes completely turn the context of this tie upside down. We could have ended up with a golden heat decider.
  9. Sorry to hear about your train problems. I didn't actually go through London. My journey was Peterborough to Stevenage, Stevenage to Hertford North, Hertford East to Rye House.
  10. Interesting to note that Ged said that the team had made major bike changes, would have been very interesting to see the conclusion of this meeting.
  11. Lakeside would not be thrown out. They would be ordered to restage the fixture. If they can restage the fixture is another question.
  12. The only reason this is being referred to the SCB is because Lakeside, through no fault of their own have ran out of dates to stage this fixture. Standard protocol is for the fixture to be restaged.
  13. Lakeside also had the better gates for the majority of those heats. Panthers would have also had the pick of gates in heat 15. Those 8 heats can't be used in isolation to extrapolate and produce a result. Panthers had also stemmed the tide in heat 8 by stopping Lakeside's consecutive heat advantages.
  14. Panthers riders rely on the famous Panthers roar from the fans, which helps them on the track. A meeting behind closed doors would disadvantage them greatly.
  15. To be honest, I don't blame Lakeside. It's probably Rye House`s stadium.
  16. That's a load of guff. The only part that applies to this scenario is the mathematically sure part. It's black and white, the result isn't mathematically sure. Panthers were 99.9% out and Lakeside deserve to go through, but the rules require a result to be definite.
  17. Apparently Jon Cook has referred this to the SCB. Why? The only option is to run the meeting again. If Lakeside can't stage the fixture, the Panthers would be happy to let them use the Showground.
  18. Meeting has been abandoned. I still have my ticket but I left. How do I get a refund?
  19. Wish I was still there, had my train to catch. Currently stranded in Stevenage. If there's a restaging, we need to book some better guests. Tonight was pitiful.
