Peterborough v Lakeside 29 June
LagutaRacingFan replied to TonyE's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Panthers were carrying a passenger last night in Perks, Grondal or a new rider will strengthen our side massively. -
Peterborough v Lakeside 29 June
LagutaRacingFan replied to TonyE's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Bacon is a heat leader around EOES, anyone who thinks the Panthers aren't going to win this by at least 10 is delusional. -

Why has Ellis Perks been nominated as reserve for Peterborough? -
Poole v Somerset 27 June 2018

Jack Holder is pure class, he's one of Torun's best riders. He's already better than his brother. -

If Ulrich isn't fit, hearing Jack Holder is on standby. -

A shame that I'm going to be missing this meeting. Finsbury Park with Liam Gallagher just about edges it for me. -
The continuing decline of Speedway

The crowds at Peterborough have been very good this year, the club will surely make a profit this year. -
SGB championship fours 1st July redcar

Panthers have a very good chance, not one weak link in their four. Are you allowed a reserve in the Fours? Tom Bacon could be a trump card. -
Peterborough Panthers 2018
LagutaRacingFan replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Doesn't matter who we find, Tom Bacon is now a world class reserve rider. That Top 5 is power packed, Hougaard would clean up in the Championship. -
Peterborough Panthers 2018
LagutaRacingFan replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We could do better, below side would be easy to make. Hougaard is desperate for rides and has been phoning up UK clubs. His Polish team have gone cold on him. 1. Nicholls - 7.74 2. Wilson Dean - 5.90 3. Hougaard - 7.91 4. Palm Toft - 6.68 5. Ulrich - 7.41 6. 3.83 7. Tom Bacon - 3.03 -
Peterborough Panthers 2018
LagutaRacingFan replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Although we're doing really well, a crucial moment has been reached in the season. We have 6.94 to play with to replace Ellis Perks, if we don't make the move before July's greensheets then MPT's and Bacon's increases remove the scope. Who do people have in mind? -
Jepsen Jensen would be a brilliant signing, he's a Wimborne Road track specialist.

Redcar v Peterborough Thursday
LagutaRacingFan replied to SuperBear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Our form is incredible, I'm actually actively looking to see when our next home fixture is. I suspect that many other supporters are doing the same. A winning team breeds a good feeling factor within a club. Edit: Just realised that I'm at Finsbury Park for Liam Gallagher on the 29th, I won't get my next Panthers fix until July -
Redcar v Peterborough Thursday

Very sad to hear of Redcar's financial difficulties. Speedway is being held to ransom by big shot riders and the mafia like BSI. Very impressive performance from the Panthers! -
Redcar v Peterborough Thursday
LagutaRacingFan replied to SuperBear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Panthers site just posted that there's no broken bones for Ulrich, just whiplash and a headache. He should be fine for Thursday. We should be looking to get 4 points from this fixture. -

Jack Holder doesn't fit sadly, he's at 5.74 which is unfortunate. R/R is probably the best solution. -
Redcar v Peterborough Thursday

Sorry, long day! Proctor it should be. Although, does anyone else think the guest rule is flawed? Why are Peterborough only allowed to book a guest up to Ulrich's average of 7.41? The Panthers team declaration is at 40.51, surely we should be able to book a guest up to 9.40? -

Garrity doesn't fit, Proctor would be a decent guest. However, my preferred choice would be Aaron Summers. Mr Summers is a Redcar track specialist. -

Can you book a guest if only one rider is missing? Ulrich will be a massive miss at Redcar. However, Lambert and Bacon are firing on all cylinders, Palm Toft and Wilson-Dean are excellent and Nicholls is Nicholls. Panthers to edge this.
