  1. Lakeside would not be thrown out. They would be ordered to restage the fixture. If they can restage the fixture is another question.
  2. The only reason this is being referred to the SCB is because Lakeside, through no fault of their own have ran out of dates to stage this fixture. Standard protocol is for the fixture to be restaged.
  3. Lakeside also had the better gates for the majority of those heats. Panthers would have also had the pick of gates in heat 15. Those 8 heats can't be used in isolation to extrapolate and produce a result. Panthers had also stemmed the tide in heat 8 by stopping Lakeside's consecutive heat advantages.
  4. Panthers riders rely on the famous Panthers roar from the fans, which helps them on the track. A meeting behind closed doors would disadvantage them greatly.
  5. To be honest, I don't blame Lakeside. It's probably Rye House`s stadium.
  6. That's a load of guff. The only part that applies to this scenario is the mathematically sure part. It's black and white, the result isn't mathematically sure. Panthers were 99.9% out and Lakeside deserve to go through, but the rules require a result to be definite.
  7. Apparently Jon Cook has referred this to the SCB. Why? The only option is to run the meeting again. If Lakeside can't stage the fixture, the Panthers would be happy to let them use the Showground.
  8. Meeting has been abandoned. I still have my ticket but I left. How do I get a refund?
  9. Wish I was still there, had my train to catch. Currently stranded in Stevenage. If there's a restaging, we need to book some better guests. Tonight was pitiful.
  10. Just caught the early train back. Feel disappointed. Rye House is such an awful track. The announcer is such an annoying man. When announcing the Lakeside riders, he screams like a banjee. It's really irritating.
  11. Ged having a lengthy interview with the DVD men. His interview must be box office.
  12. In a couple of hours, Lakeside`s title hopes will be in tatters. Panthers on the prowl.
  13. Just on the train to Rye. Hundreds of Panthers on this train. Will feel like a home match for Swales' men.
  14. £17 for admission is a joke. My return ticket to Rye is only costing £20.
  15. The Panthers side looks very formidable now. Jorgensen, Grondal, Aarnio, Covatti, Lambert & Wilkinson. All track specialists at Rye, Lakeside are in huge trouble.
  16. Ulrich out, Covatti in. At least we now know why Ulrich has been so awful. If he's been ill, why has he been riding? Makes us stronger, but we're still up against it.
  17. Any prospective buyers would complete due diligence. You can't cook the books. Ged gets no benefit from lying. He's telling the truth.
  18. Peterborough & Poole are both successful clubs with healthy crowds. Most clubs are making a loss, the two above are an exception.
