Is there anyone or can anyone recommend someone that designs and makes sets of speedway guards at a reasonable price?

I have a set of Orange and black guards for sale for an upright bike. The rear guard is new no holes drilled, however does have name PAUL on it. Front guard and 2 Sinder shields have been drilled and used. I have pics and open to offers.

I brought the bike early 2013 and have attended 1 training session and entered 1 amateur meeting so in two outings rode less then 10 times. Last putting June 2013 Its a Jawa engine, has a delorto Carb, has an old style silencer (training tracks and amateur meetings accept) comes with stand and a briggo dirt deflector. Can anyone advise what a good age is to start teaching kids to ride? I want my children to have a go. Also what kind of bike would be ideal as been trying to hunt around for a cheap one to let them have a go in the garden. Thanks

I am after various bolts including engine bolts and wheel spindles some will be kept as spare and some will be used to build spare bike thanks.

Ill go for option 2 haha!! and I know a bit but still trying to teach myself so I would say a 4 have stripped down engine before but that was with another rider.

I will try by passing the cut out every thing is off my running bike even the cut out! It is really strange. From my running bike I am using the same chassis and following parts from my running engine, Cut out Red Ignition box Spark Plug Spark plug Cap Red ignition (behind casing) the Silver cylinder magnet dyno that sits on shaft in middle of red ignition. All earthing points have been cleaned as well. So I am really stumped as everything has been used from my running bike onto this engine.

hello thanks I have tried every thing apart from trying to run without a cut out. Its just this bike was fully running and ok but I changed engine and nothing else changed i.e red box & cut out then I didn't get a spark so I took the plug, red ignition and dyno out of my running engine and put into this engine, still no spark. I am really confused that's why I thought if timing was out then I would not get a spark! Maybe engine just needs to hit the scrap heap!!!

tried cut out still nothing. Could my timing be out? does anyone have the disc and tools needed to set up timing? also a brief run through of how to do it thanks

Brilliant thank you Vince, I have changed that so got my complete ignition and spark plug from my working bike and there is still no spark! any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks

I have having trouble to get a spark on a Jawa laydown I have cleaned all earthing points and checked all wiring. I am using a selecta red box and ignition from my running engine. The only thing I have not tried is the dyno (silver thing that sits in middle of red ignition behind case) But do I need a pulley to get them off or can I make something to use? Thanks

Unfortunately I do not know the history of this bike. I brought the bike May 2013 and have attended 1 training session and entered 1 amateur meeting so in two outings rode less then 10 times. The stickers have been removed, the front mudguard has had a repair. Its a Jawa engine, has a delorto Carb unsure on clutch (got steel and red fibre plates), has an old style silencer (training tracks and amateur meetings accept) comes with stand and a briggo dirt deflector. The rear mudguard has a piece added to meet with new requirements. This is ideal for beginners, sorry I don't know much more then the obvious. The engine runs fine and is quick. No history. Been advised that the engine is a long stroke. £1000. Surrey.

Can anyone advise me if I can tell if I have a Jawa short stroke or Long stroke? are there any markings ect to tell?

What oil do I use in a 500 Jawa? is there any specific grade or brand?
