interesting that the venues include a new dirt track in south wales- does that mean speedway at a new venue as well?

This has really interested me- as I'm about to move within 1/3rd of a mile of nton raceway, I'd be keen on any revival of the Brafield Badgers after 50 years! probably never happen, but the track has to be in the best location of any not currently in use- no houses around it and off the A43 roundabout that services nton and the M1- a great location for all the fans from Milton Keynes and up north who aren't near a convenient track. It's predominantly a stock car track, but a great shape for speedway. No one interested in prmoting th4ere though I suppose!!

not sure about that figure- the crowd was much bigger than I can remember in all the previous years, especially on the 3rd tier- they were high up the seats on 3 sides, albeit the BT sign was visable on the 4th side. strangely, the least problems with traffic and crowding in all 5 years though!

the track was the best it's been in 5 years of watching at Cardiff- there were races in the second part of the meet that were better than on permenant tracks. If you go just for the racing you're missing the point, and I saw the sky meeting the next morning, much more exciting than most elite meetings shown on monday nights. Stop moaning about the track, if you were watching on the tv go and experience the atmosphere, there's nothing like it. 10 heats out of 25 had some good racing and 3 had incidents. what more do you want??

amazing to think that Josh Auty was recording times only 2.8 seconds slower than the full meetings, and at 14! this kid given the right support could be really good- best I've ever seen at that age, hope he continues the progress. on a wider note, really pleased with this fixture, there must be 30/40 under 16's coming through, i think in 5 years the brit scene may be much improved, hopefully all the way up to the highest level!

greg bartlett! what a waste of a potentially huge career.....even after all these years can still remember the shock of him not resigning.....

this looks great- why can't we have the same rules for the other leagues???
