If some riders aren’t happy with the track and the ability to race on it we can’t force them if they feel it’s unfit for racing. Obviously all riders are different in what they see as unfit to race but it only takes one.

So we have established Basso was at the track, So the reason for not bringing it forward a couple of hours I am hearing was the referee was teaching Steve Worrall on how to break the tapes eloquently after he excludes him later.

Under track heating would mean meetings should be fine from the frost and all clubs to install a retractable roof to prevent rain making the track wet. The retractable roof also solves the problem of swarms of midges biting the paying public in the Summer.
