Berwick v Workington CL 10/08/24 7-00pm
Gazc replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I thought his interview was hilarious didn’t give a toss , maybe Blair should follow another line off tact next time and just stare at him to see who cracks first. -
Could have went either way with both teams going at it unfortunately we have too many passengers away from home and good old Babs came too the party. Well done Plymouth.

Batchelor looked as if he was in a parallel universe in his pre match interview. Hopefully any kids watching that interview will see that Magic Mushrooms are bad. -
Well done to Plymouth but man of the match award goes too good old Babs she had a stormer. Or was it woman of the match either way she was horrific. Nothing Plymouth could do they rode well, both teams rode well but was ruined by an ego maniac.

She has done her best to ruin which was an entertaining meeting. She makes Scottish football refs look half competent.

Berwick v Oxford 03/08/24 Championship

Your opinion of course my opinion differs, and why would anything trouble me ? Strange comment the Glasgow team this year wasn’t great we could all see that but the standard of entertainment has went up another level so all good from that front. I can get your point to a certain extent but diluting the product year on year and still changing fans the same or more isn’t going to end well. -
Berwick v Oxford 03/08/24 Championship
Gazc replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Needs to be a complete overhaul at the top , this continuing every year and be expected to be treated seriously is laughable. Fans are just an afterthought by the decision makers. The list of decisions made at the start of each season is getting more bizarre ,the icing on the cake being the 38 team building limit this year. That decision topped the list for madness by a distance, in my opinion there should be a body representing supporters for there input on what fans think and taken into account. -

This season has been particularly shambolic regarding the fixture list. Clubs having weeks off in the height off summer is mind blowing especially for a SUMMER SPORT. -
Championship Pairs Oxford 16th August 2024

Yep his antics at last years pairs were pretty poor. -
Enjoy your trip don’t think you will be disappointed , with Bomber, Nicholls and Pickering on show around Glasgow it could be tasty.

Forecast has changed slightly to showers early to mid afternoon and showing overcast but dry late afternoon with a high of 20 degrees. Some natural watering and a home win, a rain dance looks futile for your annual pumping.

Local Derby week this time in the League Looks like we are lining up like this. 1.Chris Harris 2.Jack Smith 3.Leon Flint 4. Matic Ivacic 5. Scott Nicholls 6. James Pearson 7. Vinnie Foord Im sure the ever optimistic Blobby will be along shortly and let us know the Edinburgh line up and how they will get pumped and how it’s not fair. Looking forward to seeing Josh Pickering around Ashfield again , the best visiting rider by a distance I have watched at Glasgow this season. Fancy a home win 52-38.

Most will have increased there average due to a watered down league. Leon bar a couple of meetings has been average around Glasgow but we knew that when he signed ,he hasn’t mastered it and he probably won’t if he still hasn’t worked it out by now. His comfort zone is Berwick and that’s were he should be to maximise his scoring, nothing against the lad he is just not suited for Glasgow as even when he gates the multiple racing lines means he invariably gets passed as last week proved.

Poole Pirates Vs Glasgow Tigers 31/7/24
Gazc replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I’m sorry but entertaining meetings all day long for me , yes winning and entertainment is the ideal scenario but coming away from Ashfield on a Friday win lose or draw you always feel content in what you have witnessed. -
Were from the west always smell of roses. on the other hand.

That’s the fault of the lowering of the points limit year on year not the club. -
Another couple of weeks yet just in time for our season finishing. On another note can you take Leon back next season.

As someone has mentioned it’s the winning that matters good racing is just an afterthought. Personally I prefer to be entertained first and foremost. -

Off course they will even if it means entertaining the crowd isn’t priority. They are a good team right enough. -

Don’t upset the Poole fans allegedly Glasgow fans are moaners when we mention there track Which to be fair is absolute Sh|te but don’t mention that. -
Some off the best times in our History were had at Shawfield , used to go to the Greyhound’s on a Saturday and that’s what inspired me to shave my head back then. The announcer kept saying the hare is off and the rest is history.
