Glasgow v Edinburgh , Easter Sunday

Dish what out because Cook said that in a tweet ?. I never saw Ben dishing anything out just a good race between two good committed riders , until Cook tried a move that probably wasn’t there and wiped Ben out. -

Didn’t say he was crying though. Said he was pissing himself laughing. Surely even you can tell the difference between both. -

Now that’s the type of disrespect I like. -
I still boo anyone in an Edinburgh race suit . I really should grow up.

Absolutely I am sure they will kiss and make up eventually. Until Craig gets the repair bill and it kicks off again. But it was a very enjoyable meeting. -

How I have missed these derbies against our nearest and dearest. Ben should troll him now on Twitter just for a hoot. Then send him the repair bill for his bike. -

Yep he is venturing down a dangerous path with those comments. Can’t imagine Ben will be overly concerned though. -

Yep it is pretty childish just makes the next meeting more interesting now though. I find it hard to get upset at this though as he brought a lot to Glasgow during his time here. I am sure Ben will not be giving a sh*t . -

Yeah you played your part but we pulled away towards the end. Was difficult to see exactly from the home straight but I have seen Cookie take that inside line loads of times on the second bend and worked it well. Bens reaction suggests the Gap wasn’t there. -

Good meeting that really enjoyed it and Edinburgh played there part in making it a good meeting. Pickering = Class on a bike We looked strong and will get stronger Claus settled back in as if he had never been away. Ben should have waited until Cookie took his helmet off before punching him would have made more off an impact. -
You could alaways replace MPT with a lower average rider to get Dan a spot . Then your built too the same points as everyone else.
-
You would expect Claus to make a mockery off his average if he picks up we’re he left off the last time he wore the stripes. I know some say his average is a 5 because that’s how he rode but we all know he’s better than that much better, really looking forward too see how things pan out. I expect Ben to be number 1 If he continues his upward spiral but it all looks promising hopefully it pans out the way we all hope.

The three Australians you mention have the track craft on the smaller tracks over here Marcin has had a small taste of that and struggled on them. Only too be expected but with his ability and experience he should do better this time around, at least he knows what is required. Armadale might be a step too far this Friday hope I’m wrong I sense a stag do in Warsaw pre-arranged.

Think Nowak on his own machinery will surprise a few and will be pushing a 7 average. It’s also a big year for Tom no doubting his talent but needs to push on to his next level this season , I have a feeling he will.

Shame about Sweetman was a tidy rider and done a reasonable job covering for Josh that year. Thankfully there was no play offs that season as Newport strengthened and demolished us in that final we were long gone in the league and won it at a canter. Remember going to Newport for the first leg of that final and we were dis-mantled that night the second leg the following day was a mere formality.

Title winning season if I remember correctly. Sweetman replaced Josh G after he broke his leg that year with a young Nick Morris scoring big points.from reserve. What a team we had that year unfortunately a revitalised Newport beat us in the KOC final to stop the double but a fantastic team to watch that year.
