  1. It would be excellent to have another team in the PL But Nick seems to be very much in demand and is still an asset of Glasgow not Patchett or Van Stratten, therefore i fully expect him do Ride for either Poole or Swindon this year but hopefully on a full transfer.
  2. The track debate is starting to drag out a bit what happened to team talk
  3. It will ultimately be an average thing and what permutations the Edinburgh management have up there sleeve if Theo can be fitted in I would welcome Theo back to Glasgow with open arms , in the second half of the 2012 season he really upped his game with us and carried that on this season. Think everyone up this way is just thankful that the two teams are taking too the track next season after all the uncertainty and whatever we get we get as long as it is cost effective.
  4. Have a feeling you will get your wish if Josh can steer clear of injuries i really think he can take it to the next level , Really classy performer and stylish on the bike he will be sorely missed at Glasgow unlike his fellow Aussie who decided to treat the club & fan's with no class . Josh will alway's be made welcome back at Ashfield with whoever he rides for but i have a feeling he will still be a Tiger next year but sadly not the Glasgow variety.
  5. You could alway's claim him as your asset couldn't resist it
  6. The Worky connection was rumoured at the end off the season around Ashfield it may well be that he ends up there but whoever gets him will get a rider that will no doubt add to his starting average , it is unfortunate that Mason couldn,t show the Glasgow promotion the same loyalty that they had put in him . It may well be though that the change in promotion has swayed his decision wherever he ends up i am sure he will do well
  7. Maybe so but we don't wether he has agreed with a team for next year or not is something that doesn't concern us now , if he won't ride for us that is down to him but we certainly couldn't care less .
  8. I still think he will be a speedway rider next year but who knows where he will end up and being honest who cares.
  9. Good new's on the Monarchs coming to tapes next year always felt a solution could be found Very few are that age H Man it is just years off having to watch the Monarchs on a Friday that has accelerated the ageing process
  10. Nothing i can do about the SFL Feeder club though LOL , but i really think that the Monarchs will come through this as the support that is coming from the fan's in terms off pledges and what we at Glasgow have done to help save our club just goes too show what a great support both the scottish teams have . I know we have the rivalry and some take it too far mostly in the heat off the moment but deep down there is a definite mutual respect between the two set's off fan's Right that is the love in finished where is Dekker when you want a good old fashioned slagging match
  11. It was a tongue in cheek reply in a nutshell the plymouth promoter has cheesed off the fan base with his attitude that much there is very little off them left willing to support the said promoter , his attitude towards the supporters with contempt and the non payment off riders allegedly . Not many off them left willing to put up with his alleged antics and he has been trying to sell up i've probably missed loads more but you should try and read through at least the last ten pages that should give you a better in-sight
  12. I had hoped this thread would not descend into the usual guff alas we were hoping for too much. Here's hoping that the Monarch's can find a solution to there problems wouldn't be the same without our 12 meeting's a season
  13. I saw Alex Davies at Ashfield this year and to say he was awesome that day would be an understatement , he was the best Rebel on the day out with Jason Doyle so that is one away track he can certainly ride i would take him for us in a heartbeat if the Rebel's don't / can't fit him in
  14. It would make sense though if Edinburgh decide not to run being a local lad
  15. And said rider has dis-closed this to has he and even if he did he must have ridden for all PL clubs to be privy to when these clubs pay there riders oh dear
  16. A British summer with little or no rain would be a start
  17. Wethers was guesting for Bager who is on 5.88 but anyway well done to the Bandits today deserved there win albeit we threw a lot off points away had that end off season get this out off the way feeling today We can all look forward to next season now hopefully with re-newed optimism. Why as i said he was guesting for Bager not Campton
  18. Good to see Workington following on from ourself's with a new promotion to safeguard the sport in Cumbria , hope things go well for the Comet fans and we just need some positive outcome for the Monarchs
  19. Sense off humour by pass required the second part of your name is apt right enough
  20. We need to win by wait for it 46 points Berwick need to lose by 12 points or less , I think there is more chance on the Berwick scenario than ours .
  21. The following statement was released earlier Tonights Premier play off meeting between Edinburgh & Workington has been rained off due to Rain Does that help in any way
