  1. They would be mad not to was really impressed with him compared to the Mickey Dyer we saw at the start off the season with Edinburgh he had come on leaps & bounds , think he can really kick on next season. We will definitely be running looks like a real overhaul in personnel though.
  2. Sorry Jake yeah Josh has shown the wannabe's how to conduct themselves.
  3. I will have a stab at what i would like to see next season Nick Morris 8.00 Henning Bager 5.72 Ricky Wells 6.47 Andrew Tully 7.01 James Grieves 7.57 Rob Branford 3.00 Mickey Dyer 4.54 Total 42.31 Probably be well out but there would be improvement in all areas with probably James being the exception but should at least maintain his average
  4. Slightly unfair on Josh who has shown great loyalty to Glasgow nobody can blame him from trying pastures new.
  5. Im hoping Screeny will be heading back to Glasgow but you never know
  6. Yes you are correct that what was said at the time rightly or wrongly, why the BSPA had to wait was the contentious point for both clubs as they have now based there decision on a rider that rode in 2011 the required amount off meetings for a club and decided that the 2012 rules apply 9 months later. Really for the life off me can i understand how they can continually get it wrong or make it up as they go along.
  7. Don't see any bitterness in her post just fact's good to see you so smug though
  8. Heather i suspect we have not heard the last off this from what i hear as SCB said a couple off posts up they have opened a can off worms here let' s see how they wriggle out off it pardon the pun.
  9. That is the whole point though we all have opinion's on what the outcome should be but bottom line the BSPA are still arsing about and not making the decision which should have been made at the time of the initial dispute
  10. How sure, they will probably decide when he is not so young and not so promising a decision should have been made at the time then everyone would have known were they stood was going to say simples at the end of that sentence but you can't when it involves the BSPA as nothing is ever that. It is that long ago now something was mentioned that they were taking the 2011 rules into consideration which made him a Glasgow asset but Berwick disputed this what the rules were who knows i am sure someone will re-collect the actual ruling.
  11. Screm at the time the Glasgow promotion stated that he did do enough official meeting's and when Berwick signed him they stated that they signed him as an asset , the BSPA then said that they would rule on it at the end of the season and still it has not been delivered not really surprised. What it means though both clubs are still in limbo not knowing if they have a young exciting prospect as an asset which means loan fees etc and an income stream or saving for that club is still to be decided. The bigger picture and i may be wrong here but if they find he is an asset of Glasgow would Berwick have to pay Glasgow a loan fee for the season just passed who knows , it is turning into a bit off a mess and could so easily have been avoided.
  12. I was under the impression that the powers that be (BSPA) were supposed to be ruling on the Bellego situation between Berwick & Glasgow still neither have heard on what is happening , for team building purposes i.e. loan fees having an asset ride for you i would have thought it may have been resolved by now after the weekends meeting. Or do we have an arm & leg each.
  13. It would be excellent to have another team in the PL But Nick seems to be very much in demand and is still an asset of Glasgow not Patchett or Van Stratten, therefore i fully expect him do Ride for either Poole or Swindon this year but hopefully on a full transfer.
  14. The track debate is starting to drag out a bit what happened to team talk
  15. It will ultimately be an average thing and what permutations the Edinburgh management have up there sleeve if Theo can be fitted in I would welcome Theo back to Glasgow with open arms , in the second half of the 2012 season he really upped his game with us and carried that on this season. Think everyone up this way is just thankful that the two teams are taking too the track next season after all the uncertainty and whatever we get we get as long as it is cost effective.
  16. Have a feeling you will get your wish if Josh can steer clear of injuries i really think he can take it to the next level , Really classy performer and stylish on the bike he will be sorely missed at Glasgow unlike his fellow Aussie who decided to treat the club & fan's with no class . Josh will alway's be made welcome back at Ashfield with whoever he rides for but i have a feeling he will still be a Tiger next year but sadly not the Glasgow variety.
  17. You could alway's claim him as your asset couldn't resist it
  18. The Worky connection was rumoured at the end off the season around Ashfield it may well be that he ends up there but whoever gets him will get a rider that will no doubt add to his starting average , it is unfortunate that Mason couldn,t show the Glasgow promotion the same loyalty that they had put in him . It may well be though that the change in promotion has swayed his decision wherever he ends up i am sure he will do well
  19. Maybe so but we don't wether he has agreed with a team for next year or not is something that doesn't concern us now , if he won't ride for us that is down to him but we certainly couldn't care less .
  20. I still think he will be a speedway rider next year but who knows where he will end up and being honest who cares.
  21. Good new's on the Monarchs coming to tapes next year always felt a solution could be found Very few are that age H Man it is just years off having to watch the Monarchs on a Friday that has accelerated the ageing process
  22. Nothing i can do about the SFL Feeder club though LOL , but i really think that the Monarchs will come through this as the support that is coming from the fan's in terms off pledges and what we at Glasgow have done to help save our club just goes too show what a great support both the scottish teams have . I know we have the rivalry and some take it too far mostly in the heat off the moment but deep down there is a definite mutual respect between the two set's off fan's Right that is the love in finished where is Dekker when you want a good old fashioned slagging match
  23. It was a tongue in cheek reply in a nutshell the plymouth promoter has cheesed off the fan base with his attitude that much there is very little off them left willing to support the said promoter , his attitude towards the supporters with contempt and the non payment off riders allegedly . Not many off them left willing to put up with his alleged antics and he has been trying to sell up i've probably missed loads more but you should try and read through at least the last ten pages that should give you a better in-sight
