Think it was more a case of you nicking 1 point . -
My enthusiasm has long gone with nobody having the balls to tell Wolbert to do one 2 months ago then sign a rider who would struggle at reserve never mind as a No 1 i really sometimes wonder if they are intentionally trying to p"ss us off or they actually don't have a clue on building a team and then to big the Lad up makes it even worse we stood a slight chance before this poor signing but now we have no chance.

Some good racing tonight especially Rusty and Theo , Rusty's outside pass on Klindt was just sublime in the way he stalked him for a couple of laps then the outside swoop on the 4th bend Young Dimitri stuggled somewhat but was unlucky with his EF whilst chasing Howe. The new boy looked better in Ht 13 but is clearly no where near the standard required of a No 1 which is not the lad's fault as stated it is down to the inadequate point scoring of the rider that should have been No 1 and was signed for that purpose but even he looked good tonight but the promotion should be able to see as we do that with him at No 1 it will cost us against better team's Signing him might work out in the long run but it really required a proven point scorer at this level to improve the team and that is what is required for the now not next season as we have three in Anders,Kasper & Dimitri. Really disappointed in Scunthorpe tonight i expected better and two heat wins the first in Ht 13 tell's it's own story they are a much better team than what we saw tonight but you can only beat what is in front of you and we easily done that tonight , Pass marks to Howe and to a lesser extent Douglas & Jorgensen very poor from the rest,

I don't think he will prove you me or anyone else who thinks this is A. A panic and hurried signing & B. the wrong signing for the wrong rider , I just read Colin Hamilton's comments & i quote (It is perhaps not ideal that Victor has to debut as our No 1 ) Well no Sh*t Sherlock why sign him as a No 1 then Why not sign a No1 as a No 1 it is not rocket science or perhaps for our promotion it is.
-
I haven't seen him ride so i cannot comment on Saturday i will see him tonight though but the thing here is regardless off wether we have seen him ride or not 90% of us hadn't even heard off him and therein lies the problem if he is as good as our promotion would have you believe then why wasn't he snapped up before now and the plain and simple answer to that is that he isn't as good as they would have you believe. Whilst it is commendable in building up our asset base this is not the signing at this stage off the season we needed R/R for Christian and replace the waste of space that is Wolbert is the route i would have went down this now weakens an already weak team and the young lad's like Dimitri . Anders & Kasper must be getting sick off carrying this lot, Alas no lessons have been learned on the Team building front i have repeatedly mentioned that they need look no further than 30mls along the M8 to see how it should be done as much as i would like this current signing to work i just can't see it happening. I couldn't agree more our promotion have spouted about his scoring potential should add to the team they are having a laugh surely and don't treat the fan's as mugs either in no way is this lad a No1 any more than Wolbert is and the pressure that has now been put on the lads shoulders is unfair on him and unfair on us the paying public. If someone on the promotion had a set Wolbert would have been sacked in May yet here we are in August and he is still there total and utter mis-management on there part in allowing him to continue as a Tiger then sign an untried Swede and herald him as the next big thing when clearly he will struggle to attain a 4 point average how much longer will we be subjected to the team building antics we have had the last couple off years.

With Christian now being out for 28 day's getting a short term replacement in for that period to cover would make sense we have been using R/R for a while it has been working fine at home but away with this team it is to much off a handicap. Going by the new GSA we would have up to 8.92 available if it was Christian we bring someone in for Hopefully the Promotion can pull something out the bag. -

I wasn't having a pop at Edinburgh and there is nothing wrong with having a home track advantage sometimes Stat's don't show the true picture though but i tend to think that more often than not there average will decline after riding Armadale which is a technical track and the very few defeats they suffer at home is in my opinion a combination off a strong home advantage & year after year good teams assembled. I n regards to Wolbert we know he rides Armadale well and is much better than what he has done for us this season so it would be folly not to consider him on what will be a low starting average for next season one thing for sure he won't be anywhere near Ashfield next season except as an opposition rider we have had our fill off him. -

Because you generally compile very good teams winning teams then gather momentum & confidience and having a high scoring No 1 also help's. On Wolberts GSA it really makes no difference 8.4 or 8.6 based on this season alone he is close on dropping 3 points on that starting average i don't think it is deliberate average manipulation for a return next season he has just been garbage for us most weeks and should have been replaced long ago. But let's be honest here he would be on a very attractive average for a return next season with being so woefully poor for us this season. -

Upset is an understatement and in what way is it garbage in my opnion his average for next season will be attractive to his parent club to warrant a return and i also think that he will get close to his 8.5 average, if the shoe was on the other foot The Edinburgh promotion would have got shot long ago that is the difference our promotion have persevered with him and now it is way past a joke and after watching that performance today it was pretty embarrassing to be honest -

It has been one big fail with a few shining lights with Anders , Kasper & Dimitri Whilst Rusty & Theo get pass marks some weeks & rubbish other weeks and there lies the problem our young riders for the most part have shown up the so called heat leaders. Colin Hamilton should be raging at today if he wasn't i would be worried if they thought that was acceptable as you say we have put up with too much for too long and there reluctance to get rid off Wolbert when Stevie Wonder could have seen he wasn't cutting it has come home to roost. Start Marshall Yes he didn't realise there was only two rider's in that race easy to make mistake what i have noticed about him though is he spits the dummy if a rider takes his time coming to tapes shaking his head etc etc then the hand gestures to the Referees box not his place someone should tell him to decide if someone is delaying it is the referee and by Gesturing to the box could be seen as forcing the Ref's hand to make a decision. As i said in an earlier post i left after Ht 13 today as i really couldn't stomach Wolbert anymore it is a complete P1ss take off astronomical proportions and you can bet your bottom Dollar he will end up back at the Dump and be a 9pt rider once again i have no doubt about that and in light off today's final straw on Herr P1ss take we have decided to give Berwick a miss next week a place we alway's enjoy going nice drive & Really nice & friendly fan's but we will not fork out the best part off £100 to watch a so called No1 poottle round at the back ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. He has also dropped more than a point from his starting average so yes his average is inflated in my opinion . -

I could see clearly and There was no contact Rusty just picked up grip and and lost it Vissing had left room not a lot but there was room hard but fair riding. -

Ditto i left after heat 13 i couldn't stomach another ride from Wolbert as i still had my dinner to have and it is Mind Blowing that Christian Henry would return knowing he is not fit , you just don't know what you are going to get from one week to the next with this team but how Wolbert is still there is a mystery surely he has got to go now 2 points at home from your so called No1 is just woeful . The thing is and this isn't a go at Edinburgh but i wouldn't even consider signing another Asset from the east as it is my opinion that there averages are over-inflated due to the massive home track advantage they have and when they go elsewhere in general there average dips and in the case off Wolbert nose dives. And finally well done to the Bandits well desevered 4 points for them. The thing is today's performance goes against the grain from previous home performances were we have been strong we are a much better team than what we showed today get rid of Wolbert who has been carried most of the season and we would be on par with yourself's . -

Don't remember any insult's a lot of banter but can't see were the insult's are or maybe the definition on insult is seen differently from person to person and anyway enough of sticking up for them or they will be gloating even more but you are correct they are a really good team just wish they would assemble a really crap one for a change . You met the ones down the chemist with there script yet, no didn't think so . -

Yeah i think we have all got the jist off that one as we have only been told several hundred time's as to how good you are anyway out off curiosty any cookie rollers tonight or didn't he need to as there was nobody present to examine his rocket fuel . Think that is a bit harsh as Berwick have proved that they are a good team if they are given an actual speedway track to race on rather than a kid on one . -

Now that is the way to look at thing's getting 30 at the Dump is a major achievement these day's i think most if not all want to put there Armadale experience behind them and move on to racing on a fairer circuit not saying it is a bad track just very favourable in it's advantage to the home team.
