Potential takeover at the Club still waiting to be confirmed though but it looks likely anytime soon which appears to ensure stability which will be a refreshing change. But all credit to the people who have kept us afloat with limited resources the past few years couldn't have been easy.

The one & only Shane Parker One off the best on & off the track.

Bit of a surprise that but wish Kasper all the best back at Rye next year he was a joy to watch at times round Ashfield our loss is Rye's gain progressing nicely as a rider and a very nice lad.

No it's better than that Kevin Wolbert is leaving.

Don't think you are too far off the mark if things go to plan.

I was being a tad sarcastic just my nature .

Im sure Alex can pull a few string's should get him on a 3 i would imagine .

My opinion on Wolbert as a Glasgow rider this season just passed is not printable on here but i have no doubt that he would increase his average no problem at Armadale next year, It would be folly for Edinburgh not to consider him for next season if he wanted to ride PL. He is a lot better than what he produced for us that there is no doubt it was just so frustrating watching him pottle around at the back in one race then blitz the opposition in the next a real enigma is Herr Wolbert.

I would win hand's down as long as i have stabilser's on . Can understand where you are coming from but sometimes people post and then realize why did they post that i know i have done it myself but as George has said it is all about opinion's and everyone is entitled to there's. True can't force someone to ride for you if they don't want to but at least you would receive a loan fee would be very surprised if he was anywhere but Glasgow next season though. If we can get him at reserve alongside Kasper what a pairing we would have and would be a good team-building start.

I have read your post the wrong way so apologies for that in terms off fixtures the weather was and still is torrential and this had no chance off running today now that the late dark nights are upon us and the cut off is Friday it is a given that this double header will have no chance off being staged as Ashfield is not blessed with floodlights unfortunately. Hopefully the powers accept that we tried our best to fulfil these fixtures but the weather has beaten us and a fine would probably be the final nail it would be very short-sighted to impose this sanction given that it was out-with our control and trying to complete fixtures this late in the season is rain roulette and needs addressed at the conference with shortening the season.

You are getting over excited Mr B the point he is making is right in his eye's which is fair enough however most off us can see that the correct desicion was made congrats on winning the treble i know we enjoy the banter most off the time and it wasn't that long ago we were celebrating the league title success hopefully we can come back challenging the Monarchs next season and claim our rightful place . Couldn't help yourself could you they would not have been meaningless if the weather had not intervened it could have given the club a much needed cash injection with a good crowd that makes it hardly meaningless in a lot of supporters eyes .

It sounds pretty obvious why Aspegren remained down i was not there but just going by what has been said by those who were it sounds like a case off going for a rerun with 3 riders which would have given the Rebels another chance off splitting the Monarchs. The ref must have saw this that way also and declared as soon as the home team crossed the line to commence the third lap with Aspegren still failing to clear the track within his right's to do this and from what i read it was the correct decision.

Can't disagree regarding the Monarchs would like to see a curtain opener something along the lines of the old 4TT Edinburgh Friday, Berwick Saturday, Ourself's Sunday and Newcastle Monday you can use your full septet over the 4 day's as you see fit this i feel would create more interest for the fan's and would be different to the usual Edinburgh opener.

Davy credit were credit is due very deserving champions and well done to the Monarchs However as Rob has pointed out some way to go to catch that phonomenial Glasgow team of the Mid 90s it took a lot off planning to get 600cc engines into the chassis but it worked eventually But seriously Edinburgh have been head and shoulders above everyone this season and thoroughly deserve the plaudits
