No problem here he would be the first one to criticise though if the boot was on the other foot and what facts are these we are paying too much according to him well what is too much ??? i have no idea have you or more to the point does Havelock.
-
If Havelock insists on a transfer fee i would say probably what is it with Havelock anyway seems to have a lot to say to the Local Rag about Glasgow and the money we are offering riders someone from Glasgow should have a word in his shell like to shut it.
-
We don't talk about us being shafted sorry losing out on that anymore.
-
Just read that he seem's very quick to mention negotiations with riders publicly and specifically that is twice he has named Glasgow and money on offer i really don't see what relevance this has naming another team in negotiations when they have offered a rider more money. Trying to stir thing's up here is havvy he should just accept that sometimes you win some and other times you lose some he should just get on with his own teams affairs i have not seen anyone else mention money on offer by anyone else bar havvy smacks of being slightly jealous and not very professional.

Been following this with interest this asset system is Prehistoric and should be binned now, Self employed people in all walks off life are free to work were they please and are required, Speedway should be no different. If this asset system was challenged it would ultimately lose under Employment law directives it is outdated and unfair. What i will say though Matej Kus has put pen to paper with Redcar relatively quickly so suggests to me he was happy with the terms of the deal to say his hand was forced is ridiculous if Kus didn't want to sign for Redcar bottom line is he wouldn't.

Don't see it as the visa being the problem the way i see it is that the Border Agency have looked at Non EU riders coming over and have increased there average as a deterrent to clubs to look firstly at young brits and then young EU riders and so on. My club have been guilty several times on bringing young Aussies over that have just not been good enough for every Nick or Josh there has been an O Malley or Penfold or Davey the new assessed 7 average will mean that clubs will think twice on introducing a young Aussie unless they are sure that they can meet there assessed average and that will mean they will be more careful on there due diligence process.
-
Probably to big a gamble on a 7 thing is this is a UKBA directive that the BSPA are aware off and all promotions were instructed at the conference so the way i see it is unless young Allen has european roots then he will be assessed 7 as will Holder at Somerset. At least Berwick have the luxury off restructuring there team if this is the case Somerset on the other hand have made a right royal off it by naming there full team outwith the permitted 42.5 for the second year running . I am sure Nick is relieved he has come home.

Really can you let us all know then how much our wage bill is as it appears you know , So many people in the know on here i must be out the loop with my contact's.
-
No intention to offend my comment was based around the fact that the Fans were pi**sed off with his performances not with your statement.
-
Yes part off the problem was the club in not getting shot probably a month into the season but his level off performance as a professional sportsman was frankly abysmal.
-
Well if you had explained it like this i would not have made the patronising comment if you read your original post and the way it has been posted and think about the way you have said it and you can honestly tell me that it doesn't sound patronising then i stand by the comment as it does sound very patronising. As for Spin King's comment he has read it the same way i did in your first post and came to the same conclusion he has reflected on it and has been big enough to apologise I on the other hand did and still do think that your original post was very patronising against Glasgow.
-
Couldn't believe what i was reading initially then it sunk in but we have them all in our midst we are only 20 odd mile from smugville so we should be used to it.
-
Very impressed the way Bewick's promotion go about there business congrat's to them on a very good start to there team building Barker is a real coup .
-
No sh*t sherlock.
-
What a patronising post this is just because Sheffield want him then why go to Glasgow is that seriously what you mean, If so that is even more smug than some off the post's from the Monarchs fans difference there though they could be smug as there team were winning everything can't see why you are though.
-
Be good to see Rusty getting the final place now that we know he won't be back with us better the devil you know rather than second guessing on what Howarth turns up for you the EL Version or the PL Version.
-
It is looking likely he will be based with the other Tigers across the border from what we hear.
-
Im over the moon now that excuse for a speedway rider will never don a tigers race jacket again i get what MD is saying but even with his low average i would not let him anywhere near Glasgow Speedway ever again bottom line he was an absolute disgrace last year and how he lasted the full season is even more baffling I would have sacked this clown Mid-April even if we couldn't have got a replacement right away.
-
No real surprise there then with Wolbert going back east after what can only be described as cheating the Glasgow fans dropping over two points on a rolling average is no mean feat that is an indication on how s**te Wolbert actually was for us Edinburgh would have been foolish not to use him on his reduced average due to his lack off point scoring for us you can bet your bottom dollar that his performances will make a miraculous recovery riding for the Monarchs that i have no doubt which will be another smack in the teeth for all concerned at Ashfield. One thing though if and it is a big if Wolbert rides for Edinburgh the way he rode with us then he will be jettisoned in double quick time by Edinburgh that is the difference we stuck by him and Edinburgh have benefitted So well done Edinburgh on a shrewd signing but as far as i am concerned it is good riddance to a charlatan who didn't have any pride in his own performances and i would hope that we never see this rider in a Tigers bib again.
-
He was in general gating 4th but winning heat 2 90% off the time scoring well in other heats also never seen him in his first season at Rye but as Shads has said hopefully he has matured in his decision making with his season with us I certainly bar the odd once or twice never saw anything rash hard but never rash. His gating will improve maybe never be a Tai from the gate but should improve.
-
Probably right but his point scoring wasn't to shabby even with the inability to gate.
-
Don't know if you would want to it was much more enjoyable watching him reel people in and weave his way through.
-
Track was pretty good last season best it has been for a few season's.
-
If you go to the final issue his final average is 5.68 can only imagine that there was still some meeting's to add after issue 30.
-
Anders final average before being released was 5.68 as i say on good machinery would easily add to that very good young rider but wether he would be willing to come back over who knows he was losing money over here apparently.
