  1. I have seen it first hand Dekks and i am not defending it yes we have our fair share was pointing out most clubs unfortunately do it was more a reply to the comment about how all this money has been spent but they need to sort out there idiot / idiots comment the only way is as you say report them you will alway's get the few from all clubs but thankfully it is a small minority.
  2. Unfortunately most if not all clubs have there idiots and to single one incident that just happens to be a Glasgow fan say's more about you feeling the need to criticise about it than it does the was going to say idiot but i wasn't there so can't really comment but as George say's we all have them In fact a couple off years back i was threatened by an Edinburgh fan after i passed comment when he cheered and made comments when a Glasgow Rider fell off his bike and he then told me he would shove a Bud bottle were the sun don't shine, when i pointed out to him that it was me that was holding the said bottle and the only cavity that it would be entering would be his he then made a swift exit. So really don't criticise one man and his dog for poor behaviour when you lot have your fair share off idiot's also. P.S we have a couple off spare seats in the car for the trip to Berwick today if anyone is looking for a lift we will be leaving Paisley around 2pm
  3. With Lakeside riding in an official meeting & ours no more than a friendly we probably agreed with Lakeside to let him ride there but any future fixture clashes then we have priority as his parent club.
  4. I tend to only give reasonable answers to reasonable people and not to those that end a sentence with Ken or have a picture off Blobby as there sig .
  5. My apologies post 92 in the Glasgow Edinburgh thread still saying riders from both teams not wanting to ride isn't entirely true is it Mr B but anyway can only see a Monarchs win here by more than the 6 required.
  6. At least he is being honest more than can be said for your Glasgow Riders not wanting to ride deleted post .
  7. Access is a lot better than last year for prams enter through a new tarmac area purchase your ticket & enter through glass double doors to a new bar area, snack bar area all terraces are now all level and there is a wider walk way so there is plenty room for you and the pram if you intend to go round the back straight you would need to go over a stoned area at the 4th bend but with todays prams it shouldn't be a problem hope this helps.
  8. I would imagine there is two words for that Doubling up.
  9. Go to work for a couple off day's and I've missed it all kicking off would have loved getting my teeth into it as well .
  10. This is all full & well but were does it say that Glasgow Riders didn't want to ride as you stated on a previous post which mysteriously has been edited or are you just making that bit up (now there's a shocker) to deflect thing's from your captain moaning about the track. Remember the hole you are digging is starting to get deeper or as a Philadelphia Lawyer would say please think carefully before you answer. At the minute Main Stand & Enclosure have new roof's on and some shelter partially on terrace at front off main stand all areas were packed though.
  11. And were did you get that from AFAIK Glasgow were willing to start the meeting and continue until the downpour during Ht 11 so how can you speak for Glasgow riders and what they wanted to do.
  12. Not worried at all but i agree the Monarchs have assembled another strong looking team but there is no apparently about it we are the strongest team in the league .
  13. Mr B just makes assumptions with the naked eye then we can all take it as gospel whilst track conditions were far from ideal it was not as bad as some would make out Richard Lawson had a sub 60 second lap in heat 1 i have attended a few meetings on a wet track at Ashfield and times were 64 - 65 seconds so that would tell me that the track wasn't as bad albeit those behind were getting filled in but rather than rely on a biased view i would prefer to go with the fact that times were considerably faster than some other meeting's i have attended. You really didn't think for one minute that there wouldn't be some well one Edinburgh fan picking fault in everything about today would you.
  14. Nothing to do with thicker hide the bumps on the track are just the tip off the iceberg with his anti Glasgow comments but you are correct the scum remark has no place on here or anywhere else banter is one thing but that is way beyond banter and can't be condoned. Stadium is looking very good some small teething problems but to be expected and a healthy turnout from the East.
  15. Both Teams must have agreed to give it a go or it wouldn't have started so poor excuse that one Mr B but the track was very wet and as i stated in a previous post i was surprised that it started never mind went 11 heats TBF though it did improve slightly as the meeting progressed but Richard's time in heat 1 wasn't too shabby so maybe your lot just didn't fancy it after failing to make the gate. And for the life off me can i fail to grasp with you and some others is with all the good things that is happening for Glasgow & Scottish speedway in general you continually have to make derogatory remarks about anything Glasgow as soon as any positive comes along there you are lurking like a bad smell waiting to give your usual negativity on anything Glasgow but off course Armadale is the creme de la creme My Ar*e but your not bitter or jealous Mr B are you well maybe just a tad Jealous.
  16. Full credit to both sets off riders for giving it a go in very difficult conditions can see were Craig Cook is coming from as i was surprised that we got to Ht 11 as the track was very wet in what was no more than a challenge to blow the cob webs away. Difficult to assess on rider performances on the track the way it was but Rich , Nick & Aaron were very good and there will be a lot more to come from the rest For the Visiting Monarchs Sam Masters was superb ably backed by Cook & Wolbert also a word for young Riss took a sore one by attacking the track maybe going at it too hard but he looks as if he will be a good acquisition for the Monarchs Looks as if both Scottish clubs are in for good seasons with the bit off luck you need with injuries etc, But we are optimistic and it will take a very good team to take anything off us at the New Peugeot Ashfield Stadium. On to the Stadium the amount off work that has been done in such a short period off time is a credit to all involved and the Facilities are second to none visiting fan's will be very impressed at the transformation and if this is just phase 1 then it will be one off the top arenas in British speedway once the final works are completed. The stadium was packed to the rafters today hard to say how many were actually in but approaching a couple off thousand would be close to the mark presentation was very professional and a lot off newcomers attending should have been impressed. All in all there is plenty too be positive about in what should hopefully be a good season for both ourselves and the Monarchs albeit there's less succesful than ours.
  17. Really looking forward to today and hopefully a Tigers victory but the Monarchs look potent again should be a good close encounter Hopefully all 14 Riders stay safe with the season starting off with far too many injuries already. There has been a few showers but mainly overcast & dry think every effort will be made to get this on and if it stays as it is weather-wise we should be ok.
  18. You have less quality debates than you attend Speedway meetings Dekks so that will be a grand total of none.
  19. Don't need to dress Ashfield up Dekks it is my opinion a far superior race circuit to Armadale preparation wise Armadale is second to none but it just doesn't do it for me as a speedway track but you have your opinion and i have mine. But you are correct on one thing Sparring partner not quite there wasn't a good spar in you as it often reverted to more or less the same as your above post insulting anything bar Edinburgh but it is only your opinion one we don't take much notice off but your opinion all the same.
  20. Even more smug than you were last year Mr B and the season hasn't even started.
  21. Ah Dekks my old sparring partner come's out with stupid statement shocker did you actually attend Ashfield last season the racing most weeks was top notch entertainment. Now that I have thought about what i have said above you probably didn't even attend Armadale never mind Ashfield .
  22. Sorry forgot the wink but you have a long way to go to catch the masters off the smug no offence intended.
