  1. Can't think off any reason why Dimitri would be missing unless it has something to do with Long track commitments other than that who knows.
  2. Don't think our owners have informed Blobby on that one yet once they have i am sure he will let all & sundry know via Forum Faceache Tweeter Carrier Pigeon Town Cryer Morse Code Tittle Tattle (this is his favourite) More Tittle Tattle (Seeing that it is his favourite) Courier (Same day Delivery) Smoke Signals Telephone Flyer's Fax E-Mail And a special advert on Forth 1 with written confirmation through E-Mail also sent in brail for the thick ones that can't read too well which means most off the Edinburger's will be receiving Blobby's gossip via brail And anything else that has been invented and most probably through means that haven't been invented. Anyway why the interest you looking for some your crisis loan get refused (only kidding i know you are one off the good guy's from the east and you work hard like all us good blue noses) You must get some amount of plastic burn's on your hands with the amount off straws you clutch you remind me off that famous Elton John song Blobby what was it again Ahh yes ROCKET MAN. And it is only dodgy in Possil if you walk about dressed in a big stupid pink thingy with yellow polka dots splattered over it anyone that done that would get stabbed in Bearsden never mind Possil.
  3. At least the forecast is looking better for tomorrow it's been lovely here all afternoon so we should finally get to see some speedway at last. Enjoy your day tomorrow should be a good meeting.
  4. Announced it was ticket only last week i then proceeded to purchase tickets online when i went to ticket office yesterday to pick up they told me there will be a seperate window to purchase tickets on the night must have had a change off mind so you can now purchase tickets at the gate tomorrow night. A tad harsh there don't you think over optimistic would have sufficed Smog.
  5. I know off one bus that is going down for Ipswich on Thursday and they were supposed to move on to Peterborough on Friday Hotels have been booked but wether they use them now is unclear not having much luck with getting some meeting's in so far between the weather and now this.
  6. That would have moved a lot of the water then better than any track grading i can think off.
  7. If it keeps raining the way it has i think we can also confine this to the rain off category maybe we can get the Grand Monarch to inspect the track earlier . And going by the forecast a rain off is more a probability than a possibility has the speedway season started yet just checking.
  8. I totally agree as i stated in my opening post on this occasion he has a point and it is poor PR hopefully they can learn from this and make the call a lot earlier as they did last week as this was never going to run the amount off rain that has fallen and still is has been pretty much non stop Hopefully your pals can get back up for the re-staging if it ever stop's raining that is.
  9. Not on Faceache so can't comment on that but if true whoever said that the track was perfect need spec saver vouchers when i arrived the track was sodden and unrideable in my opinion never mind race-able but as i say as far as i could see only a handful had paid by that point so it was not as if it was a mass off people out off pocket with only a rain off ticket to show for it so no damage done from that respect. But nothing on the official website all morning were most people would look that was the issue.
  10. Well now that i am back after my short absence i still see you enjoy your wee digs but on this occasion you have a point no info all morning only to arrive to find it off to be fair it was only a handful as far as i could see that already paid and were immediately issued with rain off tickets so in that respect our hard earned cash stayed in most peoples pockets but thanks for you concern or as i suspect your mischief making Rain chucking it down again so ultimately the correct call was made just should have been sooner.
  11. Well that was a bit off a PR disaster travelled up to find more people coming out than going in why this was not called off this morning when it was torrential is beyond me then wait until it was dry and then call it off Now my untrained eye told me there was no chance off racing on that track the damage had been already done with the amount off water already on it. Got talking to a guy outside there for the first time with his son he asked what he does with his tickets can he use them for Tuesday's meeting weather permitting I told him to check at the ticket office if not he can use them next Sunday. He didn't seem very impressed and that is an understatement don't think we'll see that newbie back. Can understand to some extent there reasoning behind giving it as long as possible to try and get this on but the decision should have been taken much sooner rather than have fan's wasting time money & effort travelling up this in reality shouldn't have went this far as the amount off rain that fell it was pretty obvious that this was the only outcome. Whilst they can't control the weather they can control how they deal with the decision making process and keeping the fan's informed with regular updates this is were it went pete tong in the total lack of info , It is a learning curve and hopefully they will have learned that communication in this scenario is key to the fan's not a lot we can do about it now and hopefully the weather picks up as we are now playing catch up already with most other teams and can't afford for it to get flat before it even starts.
  12. I would be very surprised if this had any chance off going ahead today if anything it is heavier than Last Sunday's monsoon they should really think about changing this to a summer sport Oh wait it is meant to be summer well nearly this weather is having a laugh it really is depressing Edited I have just seen a canoe go by the front window with Syrian refugees on it
  13. Regardless who was guesting there was never going to be a problem on that front they have had to make this ticket only full house expected.
  14. Looks like there is a window off dry weather between 3pm & 7pm tomorrow and it is Light Showers up until 1pm on Tuesday and dry thereafter saying that it all depends what site you look on as on another weather site it has it raining all day tomorrow with it being dry on Tuesday after 10am we will just hope this S*it weather changes soon.
  15. Speedway is full off injustice just ask Simon Stead or Adam Roynon do you seriously think for one minute Nick or any rider for that matter would go out to intentionally injure a fellow pro the bile targeted towards Nick is laughable and for adults to behave this way in front off children is well let's just say the children behave better you lot really need to get a life. But he shouldn't have to that is the point the least said about that statement the better as it doesn't merit debate.
  16. You didn't have a bad meeting we had a good one and you just turned it around.
  17. Surely someone can censor you after a certain time say you can't post after 8pm and no posts before 7.59pm
  18. If we're playing games here I will play yours if you think for one minute a few hand gestures bothers Nick in any way shape or form then they are seriously mistaken in there sad wee world it will in all likelihood spur him on more to ram it down there throats and if you think this behaviour is well earned you are every bit as bad as them
  19. Course it is George one rule for them and another for everyone else we don't like Cook much but I am adult enough not to abuse him in that way I even applauded him on his track craft in Heat 15 but there hatred off Nick has left them blinkered to the fact that he is a damn good rider as Cook is also
  20. If he pulled back how could he jump the start or did you mean the race was stopped for an unsatisfactory start ☺
  21. Hoping to get finished early on Friday to make my first visit in 4 years to Armadale being 7.30 on a Friday i could never get due to work but booked Friday afternoon off not going with any hopes off a victory but nicking a point would be nice .
  22. Don't know if you are looking for a bite or being just ignorant in terms off Pacific Shelf 595 the remit was the same as Sevco same concept as the holding company for the Football club if you are unsure as to who Pacific Shelf 595 is it was the Holding Company Celtic FC set up in 1994 Company No 153534 to keep the bank from closing the doors in this period since Celtic FC have set a further holding Company up HMS 02 Company No SC223604 and carries the same duties as Pacific Shelf 595 Sevco no longer exists as the Holding company for Glasgow Rangers Football Club whilst the Football Club has been in existence since 1872 and is the most successful club in world Football today. The current holding company for Rangers is Rangers international football club PLC but this is due to change as we have delisted from the Stock Exchange. So there you have it same concept initially carried out by Celtic FC with Pacific Shelf 595 hope this clarifies matters if you are unsure on understanding any off the above please ask someone at Torbet Towers. Both Football Clubs continue to exist since there inception it has just been the holding companies that have changed.
