Glasgow V Somerset Sunday 23rd August.
Gazc replied to Pogo1's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Weather is scorching and should be a cracker today. Only downside is keeping the dust down which will be almost impossible in this heat small price to pay for Speedway in the sun you just can't beat it. -
If you can get him over then it makes you stronger seems like he has improved an awful lot since he last rode for us last season.
-
Would be a good signing but Anders had already told Glasgow that he wouldn't be riding the UK and has Polish & Danish commitments but you never know but doubtful. I am sure we would have sounded him out to replace David Howe & as an asset off Glasgow it would have made sense but his other racing commitment's would not have allowed .

Thing's were said by both parties at the time most likely in the heat off the moment and as you say guest booking's earn extra dough he certainly didn't let you down. -
Berwick V Sheffield - August 15th

Credit were credit is due he was imperious today fantastic in the Final against Rich who gave him the room to carry out his outside swoop on the last bend and a deserving winner i have nothing against him personally i just think he let's himself down sometimes with his off track comments on social media he should maybe leave it a few hours to take stock and he might post different. But as i say can't fault him on track as he is by a long distance the top rider in this league and today proved it if anyone had any doubt's. Well if we use that anaology who are you impersonating. -

Touch a nerve there it's not the first time he has made a complete a*rse off himself on social media and i am sure it won't be his last. And Your view above is what you believe fair enough but can you blame people on criticising as he certainly gives people plenty off ammunition with his crass comments Talented rider and class on track no doubt about it but class off the track well he has none. -

Doolan's comments Re; Cook are pretty much nail on the head shows how highly some off his professional riders rate him. -

That would be Glasgow's decision but you have to admit he doesn't do himself any favours on social media with his comment's. Berwick seem to be his target at the minute why who knows?. -

Why Cook feels the need to publicly slate another club is beyond me really doesn't do himself any favours whatsoever, It wasn't that long ago he made comment about a Glasgow junior which he rightfully got slaughtered for and rightfully so. But thinking about it if Cook had more that 2 brain cells think about how dangerous he could be on social media. What is Hilarious is slating any track when he rides at Armadale. Berwick do not have there problems to seek at the moment and don't need the likes off Cook rubbing there noses in it i really hope thing's go to plan and the Bandits can come out the other end, As a Glasgow fan i can relate to how the uncertainty must be affecting them as we have had it on a few occasions. But Cook must remember this Edinburgh have had the begging bowl out for the last couple off seasons and if they didn't run next season he would have piss*d that many people off at premier league level that many may decide that he isn't worth the hassle if he was still wanting to ride this level. -

Gazc replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
People who form an opinion on whatever, base there opinion on what they see at any particular time now that opinion usually differs wether it be 6 months, 1 year or however long it is. Anyone who saw Victor last year would in all likelihood form the same opinion as Paul or Myself and several others did , However as we know he is riding far better latterly which means opinions change not rocket science. And there are far too many people on point scoring missions on here, who in there right mind is going to troll through post's from a year ago just to post a quote that someone based an opinion on what he saw at that time. Cyclone obviously . -

Good team performance today stand out being Victor he really is starting to look the part. Redcar Anderson apart were very poor he does look a good young prospect , Berge well i wasn't confident that he was fully confident in finding his lost confidence in all seriousness though he really looks a pale shadow off the rider he was last year pre-injury it must be more frustrating for him than it is for us to witness his dramatic decline. Looking forward to the day we get Nick & Kauko back just in time for the season finale . -
With this starting so early you should beat last year's record of 276 pages no problem.

Redcar V Glasgow - Thurs 06/08 - 7:30pm
Gazc replied to ellioth4's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Think the booing is very appropriate considering how he left us in the lurch, see that we have another texter that is not a member of the Richard Lawson fan club but job done once Nick & Kauko are back we may take some stopping. Surprised by Berge not scoring think he got around 12 points there last year you would have thought that his confidence was shot to pieces or something with that big fat zero. -

Premier League 4's
Gazc replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
We are not allowed going with 4 riders only as that is all we have fit barring the 2 new signing's. Time must be coming soon were an outside influence make the major desicions and has no agenda's , we had a chance off this but with no Nick & being refused Nemo now that chance has been seriously hindered. -
Think we will be in for one off our hardest meeting's thus far on Monday night you look a really useful outfit now hopefully it is not too late for the play off's. Would rather avoid you if you do make it though but well done to Plymouth it is a real breath off fresh air seeing other teams coming to the fore the fan's down there deserve a good team too watch.
-
Depending on work commitment's but all being well i shall be making the trip down ,
-
BTW don't be too discouraged at the points return from Berge tonight he hates Armadale and has a complete mental block on the track he should be able to get round your place and at the bigger tracks he is a joy to watch. Remember he is still very young and actually broke the track record at Glasgow in the Sheffield Sky meeting i am sure he will score plenty for the Bears Just not next week hopefully .
-
Not defending anyone they are big enough to talk for themself's if they feel they have too and i am sure they will, & yes i saw them as banter you obviously see them as having a dig at Berge you have your opinion & i have mine. Berge it appears is history as a Glasgow rider and fan's are entitled to vent there feeling's on how the fall out transpired regardless off me,you or anyone else likes what they say or not it is all about opinions. But as i say Berge is a Redcar rider now and if it had not have been for the unfortunate injuries to Bjerre , Graverson & Roynon it would have looked not too bad a team you could do worse to tie him down to next season as the lad is going to be a good un not with us unfortunately.
-
And were have i had any dig's at Berge yes i have said he left us in the lurch but at the same time i have wished him & Redcar all the best , It would be a waste for him to sit on the sidelines as he has a lot to offer. Just to clarify i have never had a dig at Berge more frustration at his leaving the club but personal attacks on him has not come from me. In-fact i don't recall anyone having personal digs at him what you need to understand is a lot off effort was put in by the club to bring Berge over last year and we all feel let down but sh*t happens you have got yourself a cracking little rider when he is in the mood and i wish both parties well.
