Really to progress his career this was the only desicion he could make he will be a loss to Edinburgh and the PL in general quality rider that deserves to be successful.

Really not the way i view it Alex Harkess according to Blobby was more interested in discussing our team building at the EDINBURGH dance at the end off last season and there not that interested. If that's showing no interest then i can't wait to see what happens when they are. Or on the other hand surely Blobby isn't making thing's up. It may well be with the talk off all these rider's wanting to come North Barker etc that we may go down the route off a more balanced top 5 and meaning we don't use Richard on 9.12 personally i would have Rich back but averages may dictate how we go. 1 Aaron Summers 8.37 2. Zach Wajiknecht 3.00 Total 42.08 but you would be relying on one off your reserves to kick on just a thought. But on the plus side you have 4 heat leader's with three potential No 1s and young James adding 1 - 1.5 on to his average now he has a full PL season under his belt.

True George he has had a lot to contend with last season we are all guilty off knee jerk reactions , but the bigger picture is that Nick has had a difficult time with a combination off contribuiting factors which clearly affected him. If Nick can get over all off this then on a sub 8 average i would have him back next season in a heartbeat.

You are correct a lot off Nick's dip in form especially at home would have been down to the terrible injuries suffered by Darcy. Also have to remember that Nick and Darcy were childhood friends and brought up together he is still very young himself and nobody really know's how much off an impact this would have had on him. As far as Blobby goes he usually comes on a Glasgow thread claiming he know's this & that about Glasgow speedway and there riders what he fails to comprehend is none off us actually care what he claims to know as it is usually a negative spin on Glasgow speedway we know what to expect from him.

Well in that case until it'sannounced oofficially by my club that we have signed him or anyone for that matter then I would prefer not to speculate tbh I would prefer Nick back than have Barker.

I would love Nick back as he will always be regarded as one off our own but by his own admission he couldn't get dialled in to Ashfield. His form was very inconsistent at home and as Manse has said his machinery lacked any speed from what I could see plus Aaron & Richard are assets whilst Nick is no longer one. If he returns then he would need to up his form around Ashfield.

Last time i checked we had not signed anyone let alone Barker so I would wait to see what transpires before going off on one regarding mercenary claims etc.

Never say never on Nick but he has clearly stated he can't get to grips with the track so it would be safe to assume he will be riding elsewhere next year agree on James he will improve a lot next year now that he has a full season PL under his belt. Richard , Aaron , James . Richie W is a good start to the team building plans.
