  1. Refreshing to see a team manager saying how it was rather than go through a repertoire of excuses fair play to him.
  2. Not sure about Hopwood scenario but Josh was eligible for a T/R in heat 8 as you state,he was the R/R for Tungate difference from the Morris scenario was that he was a reserve switch therefore wasn't eligible to don the B/W as it was not one off his programmed rides.
  3. Had to feel for the Sheffield fan's who made there way up as there team weren't as good as woeful, Glasgow on the other hand were simply majestic out the gate today and as the old saying goes you can only beat what is in front off you and we certainly done that. If we meet the Yorkshire Tigers in the play offs surely they can't be as bad as that again. Bates was a pale shadow off the rider that i see for Coventry on Sky & i know Berge has had a good season but for an ex Glasgow rider who you would like to think knows how to get round Ashfield was simply awful. Sissis & Howarth and to a lesser extent Stead are the only ones that can hold there heads up with there performance. For us we didn't have one failure today and Rene looks to have found the quickest way round a very intelligent rider.
  4. Cyclone would go off on another rant if they had to use a guest dancer.
  5. Still east of Glasgow so you are east coast just not Edinburgh.
  6. Not doubting the Guy's ability he clearly has it i am just basing it on his Glasgow performances which are erratic at best, but in terms off confidence you need to be especially at home were we are normally very good similar to yourself in that respect.
  7. I am waiting on the Edinburgh thread starting to give my prediction off two 40 point away wins.
  8. It does seem unfair when you lose a rider due to injury as is the case last night I am sure George English has something sorted though .
  9. Usually a rider , but seriously i get what you are saying i would rather watch my 1-7 but injuries are part & parcel I'm afraid and usually dictate how your season pans out.
  10. Saw that in the paper , also see Stewart condemning it . Would be nice if Edinburgh had one more visit to Glasgow this year and the cardboard Gangster was there what goes around as they say.
  11. We have had that for most off the season mostly from the East off Glasgow. It almost seems like if your team are willing to invest in the sport then we are spending above our means not that they have a clue what we are spending they just like to blow there trumpet Me personally think Peterborough have done the correct thing.
  12. It is refreshing to see a promoter not settle for second best. In all walks off life if you are not performing at your place off work your out. You have got to praise him on having the club and supporters as a priority and only wanting what is best for the club.
  13. Don't think you are a million miles away with that. Both have hit a bit of a slump in form off late. Rich to a lesser extent than Aaron but im sure they won't be happy and will be working to get back to what we know they are capable off
  14. Ah ok but when you mention Berge in the same sentence as Josh it is an easy mistake to make.
  15. Done what we had to without taking any risks simple really be harder in the semi final though.
  16. Still awaiting why you mentioned Josh as an example when he clearly didn't leave Glasgow under any cloud as you insinuate . Whilst i appreciate what you say about Berge is correct his tantrums at Glasgow were what you would expect from an 8 year old at times but it could & should have been dealt with better .
