  1. Just reading Stewart's comments regarding the tractor grade after heat 10 admitting it killed all momentum why does someone not reel in the big guy in the green tractor then, it is the same every week he goes round continuously without a care in the world. And to top it off he punctures the air fence at bend 2 to compound his unwillingness to leave the track in the past the referee has had to insist he leaves as he seems to be oblivious to anything other than him. the time he is on track is not needed someone needs to have a word and have no more than 5 laps instead off the 20 - 30 he is usually doing.
  2. Didn't notice anything in either heat tbh that would have Aaron react to Tungate, it is out off character for Aaron so something must have got his back up. I sometimes feel that Tungate is vilified unfairly due mainly to the Auty incident which he was rightly banned but he is a rider i have alway's liked as a solid middle order type rider, he has kicked on this year and he has performed well at most tracks. We did and no complaints from me on either the kid was simply sublime today and his pass on Garcia off bend 4 lap 4 belied his tender age.
  3. Yes many raised there eyebrows at the time but large slices off humble pie is now on the menu as he is just a fantastic talent. Very quick on the bike and so in control he is maturing at a very rapid rate.
  4. Yep it certainly was on the day it was a deserved win and on that performance would take some stopping may be different without those two guesting but who knows Jake Allen may have been sensational round Ashfield.
  5. Big well done to Somerset really enjoyed that today, as i said before the meeting a very shrewd choice off guests and take a bow young Bewley simply superb performance from the youngster. Meeting that swung one way then the other and back again, don't know if anyone else noticed from heat 5 to 10 we scored 25pts to the Rebels 11pts we then had a 40 lap tractor race which any momentum we had was killed stone dead and the Rebs took full advantage as they did at the start off the meeting. But otherwise no gripes in regards to the result the better team on the day won. He certainly helped but he needs as many laps as possible round his new home track for next year saddo.
  6. It is to be a balmy 19 degrees and sunny so i would imagine the natural watering and sunny conditions today we will have a good track It has been a blessing having Sunday racing this year. Don't think either team need motivating today if they do then there is something wrong.
  7. For some it appears but most have moved on . Sadly there are far more important things to concern normal people.
  8. That one again you cant think off anything else after all this time No didnt think so.
  9. Your lot have surpassed anything we have done allegedly.
  10. Would easily have won by that if the meeting had been on tonight but closer than that on Sunday .
  11. Somerset have chosen very wisely in there guest selections should be a cracker wouldnt like to call this could go either way. As long as we see a good meeting and all riders stay safe.
  12. Looks like gales & rain in the central belt after lunchtime.
  13. Keeps you ticking over nicely for a play off spot, with a run off home meetings you should qualify with some to spare.
  14. At least it saves a hose pipe ban. Every cloud has a silver lining though (did you see what i did there) it is to be dry & sunny on Sunday in Glasgow.
  15. Probably the best chance the Witches had on Sunday with Rene missing and our mini southern tour Friday & Saturday so from that perspective Louis is right.
  16. Rye house fans must be wondering why me but as you can see that Edinburgh fans will take over any thread to vent there ramblings. Only because they saw the name Glasgow after the name Rye House our apologies but you can see what we are up against. It was close Shads very close but just shows on different opinions ithe way i saw it Robbo just got it but some may see it the other way that is how tight it was.
  17. Think he went round more than that but i get your point.
  18. PMSL deary deary me i take it you never saw GWC posting if you and your other cronies want to start a Glasgow bashing thread feel free the obsession is admirable. And you can't even get the year correct so why bother. Just saw it and it did look to me as if Robbo just got it but we will take it, but you sound surprised that a referee could make the wrong call happens frequently.
  19. See your point but we were only replying to the usual suspects who in there own wisdom decided to bring it up on this thread.
  20. You would like to think it would Pogo but he is like a dog with a bone he keeps bringing it up every so often he only knows why, the other thing he seems to think it is funny regarding his derogatory remarks towards our owners which i am sure won't go un-noticed. As George has mentioned he went too far with comments regarding Snapper and then disappeared as soon as he was brought to task about it he clearly has a very deep dis-like for the management at our club that is blatantly obvious.
  21. Lost count after they done the 15th Lap the big lad in the green tractor has to get booted off by the ref most weeks seems reluctant to leave the track for some reason but your right it was rather extreme to say the least.
