  1. Same every week I'm afraid they must be on some bonus related payment if they do over 30 laps only reason i can think off .
  2. He ain't a Glasgow fan Berwick supporter if I'm not mistaken, but you are right in what you say we blew it and The Rebs didn't simple really.
  3. Don't really see the point off if this one was riding or that one was riding or if we take out this one out. Bottom line we lost and Somerset won no big deal it happens and the visitors fully deserved it yesterday.
  4. Would need to negotiate with Glasgow first to get Anders back. That shouldnt present any problems however.
  5. Hardly pot calling the kettle black , they are only stating fact that Bewley was the match winner don't see what else they can write.
  6. Felt like they were on the track for 5 years in one go today.
  7. I am sure you felt reassured or maybe not, wouldn't bear thinking about if the tractor boy didn't know what was doing. We would probably still be there waiting for Heat 1 with the Tractor boy sticking his middle finger up at the referees box every lap
  8. Looks like he took it upon himself today then to decide how long he was out, it really needs to be toned down though seriously that would drive fan's new and old away week after week off tractor racing. You could hear the grumbles from the dis-believing fans after lap 20 today that should hopefully tell him something.
  9. One meeting that is all it was we will be there at the business end off thing's but can we can beat Somerset over two legs doubtful but i have a sneaky feeling we shall bounce back so don't you worry yourself. I also have a feeling Newcastle will have a big say on who wins the play off's every possibility they can go on and win it themselves. Dave Gordon really enjoyed the hospitality at Glasgow today so i have been told .
  10. All if's & buts at the end off the day Somerset won the meeting and deservedly so.
  11. I wonder and the Belle Vue promoter was in attendance today with Gordon Pairman not that i am implying anything .
  12. The ref has had to put the red lights on in the past to get him off i kid you not it is mental the laps he is allowed to do. The tractor he is on does not have the grader the smaller red one has that he just goes round packing the track FOR 30 LAPS or thereabouts.
  13. Just reading Stewart's comments regarding the tractor grade after heat 10 admitting it killed all momentum why does someone not reel in the big guy in the green tractor then, it is the same every week he goes round continuously without a care in the world. And to top it off he punctures the air fence at bend 2 to compound his unwillingness to leave the track in the past the referee has had to insist he leaves as he seems to be oblivious to anything other than him. the time he is on track is not needed someone needs to have a word and have no more than 5 laps instead off the 20 - 30 he is usually doing.
  14. Didn't notice anything in either heat tbh that would have Aaron react to Tungate, it is out off character for Aaron so something must have got his back up. I sometimes feel that Tungate is vilified unfairly due mainly to the Auty incident which he was rightly banned but he is a rider i have alway's liked as a solid middle order type rider, he has kicked on this year and he has performed well at most tracks. We did and no complaints from me on either the kid was simply sublime today and his pass on Garcia off bend 4 lap 4 belied his tender age.
  15. Yes many raised there eyebrows at the time but large slices off humble pie is now on the menu as he is just a fantastic talent. Very quick on the bike and so in control he is maturing at a very rapid rate.
  16. Yep it certainly was on the day it was a deserved win and on that performance would take some stopping may be different without those two guesting but who knows Jake Allen may have been sensational round Ashfield.
  17. Big well done to Somerset really enjoyed that today, as i said before the meeting a very shrewd choice off guests and take a bow young Bewley simply superb performance from the youngster. Meeting that swung one way then the other and back again, don't know if anyone else noticed from heat 5 to 10 we scored 25pts to the Rebels 11pts we then had a 40 lap tractor race which any momentum we had was killed stone dead and the Rebs took full advantage as they did at the start off the meeting. But otherwise no gripes in regards to the result the better team on the day won. He certainly helped but he needs as many laps as possible round his new home track for next year saddo.
  18. It is to be a balmy 19 degrees and sunny so i would imagine the natural watering and sunny conditions today we will have a good track It has been a blessing having Sunday racing this year. Don't think either team need motivating today if they do then there is something wrong.
  19. For some it appears but most have moved on . Sadly there are far more important things to concern normal people.
  20. That one again you cant think off anything else after all this time No didnt think so.
  21. Your lot have surpassed anything we have done allegedly.
  22. Would easily have won by that if the meeting had been on tonight but closer than that on Sunday .
  23. Somerset have chosen very wisely in there guest selections should be a cracker wouldnt like to call this could go either way. As long as we see a good meeting and all riders stay safe.
