  1. Said all that without taking a breath as well, but good to see you posting now and again.
  2. Glad that you have found that you have people there that obviously care about you and from what i have read they are looking out for you as they obviously know what you have been going through. My post was tongue in cheek you probably realise this as i had no intention of being dis-respectful to yourself But there is always positives to be taken and the good people that have taken you into there fold has i suspect rekindled your faith.
  3. Its only Chinese whispers don't you worry your little cotton socks about it all will turn out for the best. Keep saying that to myself after another loss at Sheep sh*gging land today but no sign off it improving.
  4. I know i am going slightly off topic here but i sit on my own regular , personally i blame the deodorant my wife buys me and the fact that nobody likes me but apart from that all is good. So Sue if you want to sit on your own go for it hasn't mentally scarred me or on the other hand there may be a possibility that it may have.
  5. Wouldn't say i was big I'm only 5'10" but what has my height got to do with anything . What something along the lines off No thanks John shove them up your a*se we have a couple off riders nursing injuries and would prefer it was called off. How does that sound.
  6. You are indeed correct on both. Yes the drainage is good. Yes it was monsoon. Wasn't that bad won't need a hosepipe ban up here for a while.
  7. Don't know what you mean on tactical but the rain yesterday was always going to scupper any speedway today.
  8. Next Sunday it is not surprised at the call off it was monsoon weather yesterday track would have took a pounding.Next Sunday will give man and machinery the extra time to recover. Richie moves to number 1 from the 1st and Tungate likewise for the Rebels,it also means they cant use Sarjeant for BWD next week as his average has took a dip. In fact the choice they have on BWD average has alarmingly diminished, hopefully Nike will be back he would have been a big miss today if it had been on.
  9. Pretty ironic don't you think as has been pointed out we whinge and on the other hand you don't can you see the connection here. People will alway's see it from there own teams perspective and rightly so.
  10. Yep that is the key give the opposition momentum if you start slowly but similar to us at Worky were we have a 39pt lead it is unlikely that you will lose on aggregate with that kind of lead.
  11. I know i had my fun on the match thread on Thursday but that is what it was fun , but all joking aside if any team is equipped to pull the deficit back it is Edinburgh at Armadale the way Ipswich are riding at the present time it is a very big if though.
  12. All teams can point to injuries at times during this or any other season part and parcel of speedway as everyone knows teams just get on with it as Somerset will.
  13. No we have better things to do with our time than worry about trivial things like that.
  14. Not hollow at all a win is a win hardly Glasgows fault they can only worry about there job at hand. But you have to sympathise with the position Somerset were in wish all injured riders from both teams a speedy recovery.
  15. Well after the carnage at Somerset tonight is there going to be anyone left fit for the 2nd leg. Really tough luck on the Rebels tonight can't remember if a team have finished a meeting with only 4 riders left before. Happy with the win although slightly tainted but a win all the same will now need to dust ourselves down and see how Rene and Coty are for Workington tomorrow. Well done lads.
  16. Must be a new reality TV programme they are entering as the chances of pulling 39 points back are slim at best.
  17. After looking at the team line ups it is with great reluctance that my usual prediction has had to be altered. So bearing that in mind it will only be Panthers by 20.
  18. R/R for Nike Lunna tonight broke a finger at Redcar last night , would imagine he will sit out Workington tomorrow but with the form he is showing especially at home we are hoping he can return for Sunday.
  19. Whist I echo your sentiments to tar us with the smugs is never nice.
  20. Going by the updates the monarchs meeting was done and dusted after 10 minutes.
  21. Ah that old chestnut history in the past didn't take long to drag that up all of 5 mins. But i have had worse nights thanks for asking in fact I haven't stopped laughing for the past hour.
