Rob not saying Rene was blameless at all but Bates was the aggressor with Rene defending himself , What was said to spark this off only they know but what then unfolded was unnecessary and in turn escalated.

To be fair he was on the track immediately and up to the pits i know he had Bates in the potacabin not sure if anyone else were brought in after that would imagine the two team managers at some point.

Different Day different meeting as last week was to this so don't write us off yet we still have a tough semi against Sheffield to come and you are not a gimme against Ipswich for that matter.

You are probably right if it had just have been Rene he attacked but he then went on and attacked Aaron Summers and then had a go at a member off the track staff he really let himself down today and i wouldn't rule out a ban. I have never seen anything like it it was that bad.

Really defending yourself from a ned he should be banned remember it wasn't just Rene he attacked and he wanted to keep this going until it got finally dispersed. Bates was the instigator off the whole incident and had a go at anything that moved in the end up.

That could be a real possibility he was an absolute disgrace today and the Ref had to come from his box and take him for a meeting from what was said after the meeting (speedway meeting) it will be in his report and action against Bates will be taken.

No problem i just say it how i see it and today the best team won.

Firstly big well done to the rebels done a number on us today and deserved there victory they really are a top side. On the free for all young Bates rode extremely well on track his other antics with his mechanic were disgraceful. You have to have trust in the other riders and he really is doing himself no favours. But don't let that clown take anything away from the Somerset performance they were excellent today 2nd leg is just a formality now well done to them.

The mechanic that ended up eating shale after getting rag dolled don't think Bates or his mechanic will have heard the last off this as he is due back next week God knows but it turned into a free for all.

Don't think Bates will get a Xmas card from Rene this year what an absolute plonker really was no need for it.
