  1. I will be at both hopefully a good day in the pipeline, demolish popcorn teeth and his spoon burners in the afternoon then a slightly easier task in the evening.
  2. I see Richard riding for one of our biggest rivals tonight. only in this sport can your No 1 ride for your rivals for the title absolutely crazy.
  3. It is probably more money the sport needs, the ludicrous rules that are in place is more damaging D/Up D/Down Tac Rides etc etc the list is endless.
  4. Without the money that our owners paid to purchase Glasgow Speedway ultimately in all likelihood saved the club from your Wikipedia list. Then we would have no club to support, so what would you rather have happened. No we don't want your money in case your money ruins the sport we want to scrape by and go to the wall in a season or two, really are you for real. And it isn't money that is ruining the sport far from it.
  5. So going by your last sentence Ged has E-mailed the remainder of the league to tell them all the brilliant deal he got. After all it would be the only way the remainder of the league would know this brilliant deal. Or maybe you are just making things up,now who would have thought that.
  6. In an ideal world the fine will probably be in excess of the bung.
  7. Fair point and another blank calendar looms this week.
  8. Yep Sheffield seem to be going nicely and have quietly gone about there business.
  9. The same ones that your lot scraped a lucky draw at the dump and were resoundly pumped at the Stade de Peugeot
  10. Plenty meetings in hand though mostly at home so our small dip will just be temporary and we shall be rightfully restored at the summit soon enough.
  11. Feel your pain and appears you and any other travelling fans were let down with an inept away day, bar a couple of riders the rest are going through a dip it appears,
  12. We are hitting a bit off form coming to the crucial part of the season , unfortunately it is bad form on our part, after last weeks capitulation at Worky another poor performance follows suit. Witches bounce back well and it appears we were well beaten , thank Christ for Richie or it would have been even more embarrassing well done to Ipswich. The lack of home fixtures is not helping our cause at the minute entering the crucial part of the season.
  13. On crowd levels they are working but in terms of consistency of meetings they aren't and I know we have had rain offs but it will be a full calendar month between home meetings by the time we meet Edinburgh. When we raced on a Sunday there was very little in the way of blank weekends I am sure you will agree so from that perspective Saturday nights is not working as we all would have hoped. It has to be looked at for next season if we are going to continue with a Saturday as this seasons scenario is not an option, what is the point of trying to introduce new fan's if there is hardly a meeting on. But totally agree on the riders doubling up scenario this appears to be the main issue and it is ruining the sport for the fan. Spot on it is the same in all walks of life people just find something else to do if there preferred option is not on, then they like the other option and that is another potential fan lost, as I have said our fixture planning has been shocking with too many blank weekends.
  14. I don't get offended just your usual bile that you think is amusing, on the other hand I could get offended by an educated person having a debate on something that I actually give a f*ck about. But offended by you don't flatter yourself.
  15. There are Glasgow threads to have your childish pops at us, or just continue as you do and have your usual bile in any thread.
  16. Saturday has dampened most supporters appetite on attending, whenever we are lucky enough to actually have a meeting on a Saturday that is. As has been said Friday would have been a better option but we lost that right when we sold out to Edinburgh. This season has been the worst I can remember for blank weekend's , Saturday nights are having a negative impact because of this, all we ask is regular meetings and Sunday is when this was happening.
  17. Not a lot happening in re-arranging fixtures, for a team in pole position for a play off place this is strange to say the least. If it was me I would be bombarding these teams with dates to get them up. then you have covered your arse with the BSPA when these dates are still outstanding it is also looking increasingly likely that we are going to struggle with our riders doubling up/down as the season moves forward, with us being able to use our stadium whenever we need surely dates to re-schedule should in theory be easier.
  18. All went quiet on that one for some reason , was it not a few weeks ago they announced we were getting covers in a few weeks funnily enough.
  19. He is 100% correct though our fixture planning has been shocking. Whilst rain offs are inevitable We have also had blank weekends for no reason. Think some are just getting fed up with the complete lack of continuity.
  20. I'm completely losing interest in Speedway football season next week and my season ticket in place. Think I will be selective in what meetings I go to. As has been pointed out it has been sunny most off the day and warm which makes the early call off very premature.
  21. Our home meetings are that far apart it is now laughable. Our owners have no chance of building momentum on crowd levels with the lack of meetings. If as has been muted teams refusing to come on dates offered simple solution if they refuse 3 dates points awarded, might not do much for the paying public but it would sure as hell put a stop to this practice gathering anymore pace. What happened to the covers we were getting ?.
  22. To be honest McGregor is notorious at trying to ruin meetings with continually pulling starts back. You can hear the moans of discontent at Ashfield when you realise that he is officiating . always has and always will strive to be the centre of attraction rather than let a meeting flow , especially one that sounds as if it was a good one like tonight.
  23. Looks like a mini collapse after being 10 points up disappointing to get only 1 point but it is another away point on the board. Congrats to Worky on a tremendous fight back, and by the sound off it they deserved the win in the end.
