Getting a 2 pointer to travel this far North is as big a problem as getting one that is capable , this was probably the main reason Chessell decided to stand down. The governing body made this mess with the points limit and it is the Clubs that need to bear the brunt of there decision. I have said this before but offering team places to 2 point novices based on there average as it fits as the only criteria is a ludicrous position for some clubs to be in.

I have said all along the problem is cutting the team average down to a ridiculous level , it now means riders are thrown in against riders they have no chance against based on there average rather than there ability. It will do more harm than good when the distinct possibility of some of these young riders chucking it due to there confidence being shot to bits , they should have been allowed to progress at there own pace rather than thrown in at the deep end with next to no chance of doing anything As for Chessell this just highlights the average watering down, if they had been the 42 they should he would have been nowhere near a CL reserve position as is the case with most.

Who cares, i would be more worried about your riders not winning races. Thought that would be more of a concern to you rather than the opposition number 1 dominating your heat leaders.
